me and my friend were talking about this the other day. why do wives turn their husbands down for sex? how hard is it to just lay there and spread your legs? so what if you don't enjoy it anymore? you hate doing the dishes and laundry yet you do it to maintain the household, correct? sex is the same way, its a chore, but if you don't do it the housed will definitely fall apart.

But also it is not really that fucked up: there is always the platonic love, the ideal love, the unattainable love, the romantic love. The common thing in all these is the desire for the unreachable: We love the things we don't have, and ignore the things we already have, and realize their value only when we lose them. It is valid for both people and things we have.
Also we love things that are scarce, the less is out there the more value it has before our eyes.
That is SO right - my girlfriend turns down sex sometimes and usually I just get frustrated or something but if I say 'Not now I'm busy' or someshit, she'll acctually cry or give me a whole song and dance on how 'It's me isn't it! You're not attracted' and all that crap.
I'm too drunk...I'm not drunk enough! Lol. Can't win regardless.
