For the past few years I've been toying around with the idea of adding concepts that I think would make great additions to Tomorrowland and keep thinking to build them in 3D using Blender (I've dabbled in it) and was amazed to come across this. What are you plans to do with this Blender Disneyland Scene?
@EJMANZO1: I think I just created a circle, extruded it upwards at a smaller size, and kept doing cuts and extrusions and whatnot to add all the details. Relatively easy. :)
Yep! The command you're looking for is File > Append or Link. Just navigate to the .blend file, then the type of data you want to copy into the file you've got open, and then pick the object itself. =)
Sorry, my software for screen recording stopped working, but if you do a Google search for "Blender append", you should be able to find the help you need. =)
Firstly, it's Disneyland, not Walt Disney World. ;D But yeah, it's an ongoing project that I've put at least a couple of years' worth of daily work into. I haven't worked on it too much this year, but there's still more to be done.
It really just takes getting used to. Scrolling moves the camera forward and backward, middle-clicking-and-dragging rotates the camera, and shift-middle-clicking-and-dragging moves the camera up and down and side to side. (In the user preferences, I have view rotation set to turntable.)
Hey, for some reason when I push ctrl alt s it comes up with this wierd little window that says what the model is and a whole bunch of other stuff that has nothing to do with what you said. Help would be helpful. Thanks!
1taken, u are a legend. I group u into a rare group of youtuber's such as Scottof83, RockyProductions, jguesman, theandroid01, awinner and DJClayduck etc that I like 2 call the youtube elites. your videos are so helpful and interesting it is almost unbelievable. plz carry on with this. i dnt no wot i'd do if u shut up shop!
Finally, a tutorial that is actually good, and not on of those, how to make a crappy looking spaceship that you will get made fun of for.
But I need to know, you said to click the middle scroll wheel to make the wall extrusion go in the right direction. I use a mac, what is it on a mac? (it has no scroll wheel)

I could not find the reference pics anywhere. Can anyone give me direct link or the direct website?

Couldn't you just do a Ctrl-Tab?
ndsguyxtreme 4 years ago
You know, instead of selecting vertices to fill, you could just select two edges. Blender will automatically create the extra edges to form a face.
ndsguyxtreme 4 years ago
wow , i have been wondering how you put these together , keep up the good work
