excellent technique and decent legato. Unfortunately if this were a jury id have to give you a C. Pay attention to the dynamic markings, theyre not there just for fun. The difference between an excellent pianist and just another "dime a dozen" pianist is one follows the directions.

So all I need to do to be "excellent" rather than "dime a dozen" is simply follow the dynamics and articulations in the score?

I've always thought those "standing out of the mass" were the especially original, and "good" ones in any aspect, but if reading and following dynamic instructions is all there is to do... you'll hear of me when I'm famous :))
