So all I need to do to be "excellent" rather than "dime a dozen" is simply follow the dynamics and articulations in the score?
I've always thought those "standing out of the mass" were the especially original, and "good" ones in any aspect, but if reading and following dynamic instructions is all there is to do... you'll hear of me when I'm famous :))
Don't worry, we've all experieenced that kind of feeling. It's part of the game! The main thing is that, we, listeners, are not aware that you are nervous. And, believe me, it doesn't show.
