Aston Martin influenced (indeed, part of the same corporative group), but with enought wasabi and gari to keep the japanese essence. Still a Mazda, however a step ahead on performance and quality. It will hit the market very hard.

Oh come on guys ;) it's a beautiful car! It looks aggressiv and it is comfortable as well :) Yes the sideline is similar to an aston martin, but who cares about that? You cannot compare these cars! An aston costs at least three times more than the mazda ;) great job! I hope to see this car on the street in a few years ;)

Absolutely beautiful in my mind. It captures elements that are quite Japanese as well as some European. 'Shinari' is supposed to illustrate something strong being bent like steel being twisted or bamboo being bent. Another good description is pent up force being released. I think they did capture that. The purpose of this concept is simply to show Mazda's new design direction and it is VERY good to me. Thank you Maeda-San.
