The M5 is 286 bhp and the m535 is 218 bhp.

Price differs lots, seen an M5 e28 recently for 20 grand. A superb m535 about 4000. M535 is good for 152 mph and a 7.4 nought to sixty. That's plenty mad enough!

What is the difference between the E28 M5 and the M535i. I am pretty sure there is a difference but not really 100% positive on it, anybody know?

Ok, so there is an M for every series. M3, M5, and so on. The 535i, or E28 was one of there production models.

Think of it like this

535i (E28) - Mass produced

M series - Fine tuned, not as many made

can you explain what you mean? cos i tryed geting an insurance quote for it with my dads name on it and mine and it was quite high but i didnt try it as classic insurance

make your dad a main driver, then put you on the policy as a named driver.

dude i did that and it was about 10k! for a bmw m535i and teh car costs £2500 and then i find out u have to be the main driver not ur dad but i cant remember why so it went up more again, i need to know how u got it for 2400 man lol

meh, same thing. if you want to insure it when your 17 by yourself its around 3500 a year. you must be doing something very wrong to get a quote of 10k

lol dude it cant be that cheap cos i also once checked insurance for a corvette lol it was 25k and the car cost 4500, i need to know what sort of details u put in to get such a low quote

it is possible, its probably your post code or you leave it in the street or something. make the car valuse something like 500 quid with no modifacations.

its funny u say that about reliability as ive owned two and both have been sooo reliable,just case of bein lucky sometimes i guess.
