NASA states that climate change is taking place on Mars. This is solid proof that we are not in control of our climate. I know many people may want something to "grab onto" in life such as working against global warming, but it would be a false reality.
everybody should take action if u have ideas do it and share creating you're group joining mine, its one of those problems that might get to the point that we wont be able to do anything
If we legalize Cannabis we could stop the entire use of plastics, and use cannabis hemp. A complete natural 100% biodegradable substance. Not only plastic, paper as well solving the deforestation problem. Also, it can be used at oil. Completely eliminating major problems with one beneficial ILLEGAL plant. Ive only listed a few. Go and look it up yourself, and if you live in CALIFORNIA THIS NOVEMEBER YOU HAVE THE CHANCE TO MAKE IT HAPPEN
things like this happen because humans think this planet is for them only... they dont consider anything else other than that everything this planet has is theirs for the taking... a destructive disgusting species we are, nothing rapes and poisons our planet like humans.
you guys are always complaining about people throwing garbage in the ocean (i don't like it much my self) and about how people need to clean this up. Why don't you guys go help clean it up? I would but i don't have any money.
the worst animal of humans. At least the other animals only have instincts to survive we do stuff with logic which makes our crimes thousands of times worst
amazing, this world is so messed up and the only time politicians start to move their ass and do something is when they see a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow
@millionairejh this way of thinking is maybe the only one that will make people do something about this shit, simply because people don't care about anything except themselves...
There are one half of the animal species on Earth, compared to 1900. With any luck at all we'll finish off the rest before 2100. We're number one. Very few give a fuck.
Following a hurricane in central Florida, the beach south of Sebastian Inlet had massive rafts of plant matter and plastics that stood over six feet tall. Looking closely at the drift-lines inshore, tiny bits of plastic were almost as numerous as plant matter.
Plastics, btw, are toxic, but not in a dramatically obvious way. They can inhibit development in the young. See endocrine disruption.
This really paints a picture on how humans are negatively affecting the environment. If you dont believe that global climate change exists then your simply ignorant. I'm not saying that you should burn your cars and never use a plastic cup again, just saying you should make more positive decisions that positively effect the environment.
where i live there is a lot of trash in the Sargasso seaweed and we started this beach clean-up in C.E.D.O Center of Studies of Deserts and Oceans they have a but machine that sifts all the trash so we are making some progress, But the economy in fishing is terrible Sonora Mexico is literally fishing till extinction The " "Vaquita Marina" a porpoise that is endemic to This part of Mexico and there are only 150 left in the whole world!!
Face it, theres nothing to do anymore. Everyones talking about the need to make a change, yet a few take actions. This is not enough and thats why theres only one way for us to go and that is down the hill. If it was up to me, I would whipe out 99% of human species. Have a nice day ;)
@satikass What a typical comment from a brainwashed and ignorant mentally deranged leftist environ-mentalist. The anti-human ideology of the left is uber creepy. Go pray to Obama. Maybe he'll save us.
@satikass Would you volunteer to be part of that 99%? If not, you're just as bad as the rest of us. Selfish and uneducated. You can talk about the human race in 3th person all you want but you're just as big a part of the problem as everyone else. You are human too, stop pointing fingers. You just openly admitted that you would kill most of our friends and family if you had the chance. Do us all a favor and take your genocidal thoughts elsewhere.
@TheRealBlackPuma For the sake of the World I would be in that 99%, IF there were that many people better than me. At least, I try to give back, whan I have taken. And yes, I would whipe out you and your family, based on your comment.
@satikass That is slightly honorable at least the very least. But still, forgetting that your plan involves mas genocide, it is also terribly flawed. It reminds me of the Battlestar quote ''All of this has happened before, and all of it will happen again''.
When 99% is gone, would mean you'd have to return to wild as cities will become impossible to run. Generations after that will become wild once more, essentially rewinding the cycle.
@TheRealBlackPuma Yes, that's the problem. Eventually the whipe out would have to reoccur if those alive didn't learn to live, shall I say 100% green, in time.
@satikass Eventually I think we will be able to go 100%. But I sincerely doubt killing most of the worlds (human) population would fix this problem. Not only would that delay the green power research for at least a few centuries, it might bump it out of our minds entirely.
I think education is that way to go. And I mean REAL education, not the loose 'oh lets raise awareness with parties and music' kind of education. But real, mandatory, factual education without the sugar coating.
@jetspeed0320 I doubt it. You leftist, atheist, neo-communsit, environ-mentalist fascists have killed countless millions of people with your Crusade to ban DDT, nuclear energy and gentically modified crops (not to mention all the people killed by your ceaseless efforts to end non-existant global warming) and yet you haven't changed any of those policies at all. In fact, you probably have no idea what I'm talking about because you're "green" cultist retards.
@TaskForceSixTwoSix nuclear energy is not banned in US and niether is genetically modified crops. Infact most scientist agree that they are much more enviormentally friendly as they require less pesticides.
As for DDT it is known it can cause many spieces of bird to go extinct as it hinders there egglaying ability.
@HaT223 Most genetically modified crops are made by one company, and charge the farmers of it massive fees to be able to grow it, and further is starting to show signs of weakness towards some insects and some health problems. The worst part of it is the crops can't be contained and start cross polinating with non-modified crops making them unable to be contained, and these unaware farmers getting charged fines and fees for growing modified food they did'nt know they had.
We can thank the DuPont, paper, fuel giants for outlawing hemp and poisoning the world.Strange how cannabis was made illegal in 37 and DuPont come out with nylon in 38 and Hurst never had to convert his paper presses or sell off his logging business.Cannabis was crushed and now we pay with our lives.

That fish that they showed in the jar was actually probably more comfortable in the jar than after they removed him. That is a trigger fish, and they have special fins (triggers) on the top and bottom of their body that they use to wedge themselves in to small holes and caves as a protection. Even though that jar was classified here as garbage, it provided some desired shelter for a trigger fish in the open ocean. Fish aren't picky. One man's trash is another fish's safe haven.
@TarikuKunn How do you determine that the fish was dead? The fish is clearly swimming and moving quite vigorously at 2:44. With the way these fish lodge themselves into a place like this, if the fish was dead, it would have fallen out of the jar without having to cut the jar; the trigger fish uses its triggers to hold itself in place. Secondly, which part is poisonous? Plastics are inert (they don't react or degrade). My fish don't mind the plastics in my aquarium. They don't rust either.
we need to slowly ban petrol plastic for simple consumables like packaging so that bio plastics or other packaging is used. When thats adapted we need to higher the list to longer lasting items like tv/audio/car items for example. If we don't do this then we kill our self in the long run
@shintsu01 true. but this "bio" has to come from nature, so its just as bad.. but the good part is that it gets broken down naturally and the circle is complete.
@cracktober i totally agree! but still better to chose a lesser evil then just /ignore until we reach the point of no return....
We need to chance the way we package stuff. would be great if you could refill your empty glass bottle with your favorite drink. from a big dispenser and pay a interesting discount for example. :) it saves packaging and motivates people to use it.
@shintsu01 here in sweden we put alot of effort on recycling. When we throw our garbage out, we throw them out in Household garbage (food, random stuff that gets burnt), Plastic (bottles etc), Batteries, Cardboard, Glass, and it goes on and on. When we buy a bottle, we can return it to a dispenser at the store and recycle it and you get around 2sek for each bottle, plastic or glass. Everything gets recycled as much as possible.
