Although the graphics seem dated today, they are still awesome in a raw, retro kind of way. And NOTHING compared to the "holy shit" feeling when you first saw Eddy Gordo in motion. Capoeira NEVER appeared in a fighting game before like T3. It was just so damn cool.

Even later Tekkens feature superior graphics, they will never have the IMPACT of Tekken 3.

First video game I ever bought myself was tekken 3, I payed like 17 dollars or so for the game, I got it at walmart, and I still play it and it still works till this very minute as I'm playing it right now, best fighting game for the PS1, just fantastic to play with so much replay value, the game never gets old

Shoulder buttons R1 R2 L1 L2 were used in this game. They were programmable and you had the option to make them additional punch kick or button combos. Very useful feature actually.

I'm revisiting T3 at the moment....Dr Boskonovitch & Heihachi are masters of the universe. Nina and Julia are so fcking irritating but strangely hot!

Street Fighter Alpha 3 was the best on the system, but this is the best of the 3D fighters. also the most well rounded of the Tekken series. shame the story took a nosedive from here forward.

Tekken 2 and Tekken 3 are by far my favorite Tekken games, and the last Tekken games I played seriously cause PSX was the last console I owned and played a lot. Ah good old times!

I loved Tekken 2 and Tekken 3 felt kind of weird to me at first, I did not like it, when I got a bit familiar with it though, I fell in love. It has tons of advancements, sidestepping etc... and was and still is the most realistic Tekken game IMO, no overly flashy fireballs and walls blowing up like in new Tekkens.

I'm trying to look for a certain game and I'm wondering if anyone can help me out. It was a PS1 game, all I remember is that it was on a demo disc. It was a fighting game, and the only thing I remember about it was that you could fight as a wolf in the demo. The other games on the disc were like Tomb Raider 2, Parappa the Rappa, some basketball game, and a bunch of others. If anyone happens to know the name of that fighting game, I'd appreciate it.

You can play PS1 games on any PS3. PS2 backwards compatibility is only on certain model PS3s that they don't make anymore.

My dad played it once, he button bashed whilst playing as true ogre, and ended up flying into the air, teleporting behind me and flamethrowing me.
