Oh man this is game is nostalgic. This was the first game I ever booted up on my PSX back in 1996. When I first saw the intro I was like "no way this can be the game, it can't look this good", but it was... and now the only thing I got left from the game is the manual. I really need to hunt down a proper PSX copy again.

I have the original PlayStation and the first PlayStation 2 Slim.... I really wish I had this game still. I would be on the computer, I'd be on my PlayStation playin DD2

Haha, I always liked Learner Driver. I guess it was an underdog type of thing, put there were a few races that he could actually do good at. I've seen him win a few races, but a few out of a thousand or more tries are still bad odds, haha.

I used to love the Skum and Suicide Squad for some reason. Have't played DD2 literally since i was renting the game hardcore back in 2000 i think. Hope its released on Playstation Store so i can get back into it cos its most defs one of the funnest and most addicting racing games ever.

Shame they dont make stuff like this anymore.

Ah well - i still have Destruction Derby Raw, a very good game in itself, to keep me company.

This still is a completely awesome game... such a shame it never had a proper two-player mode or "link-up" option. That would have made it one of the greatest PS games ever!

Really great fun..despite the glitches. I just wish the scoring system had been more cleverly thought out to make sense. Demolition racer is another good one whose scoring system was better.

This game is so much better than Destruction Derby Raw. I love how unrealistically fast all the cars are, and how brilliant the soundtrack is. DDR in comparison is slow and uninteresting.

Destruction Derby 2 is one of the best racing games on any console. The vehicle dynamics on this game are brilliant, and few racing games have cars which are as fun to drive as on DD2.

It's a pity that DDRaw didn't build on this, instead going for slower cars that handled like pigs.

I loved this game... could play it for hours and never get bored.

I kept the CD just for the music which was really pretty good and will always bring back some hilarious moments about some crazy glitches that would sometimes happen, throwing the car up into the air almost out of the level. Glad to see the intro up on here :)
