  • who is on the sax?

  • @jonathan13holland -I believe it is Clarence Clemons aka The Big Man.

  • 89 was a decent year. I miss u Jerry, will see u again some day and the music will fill the air once more with one of the best, legend for the chords and riffs uniquely yours.. thank god for these awsome videos makes it almost real for me like he's right here. His style, his pace, his trip. Jerry one of the most human of human beings ever. special forever to me and others. solostmartin.

  • 1:57 - boner?

  • @jackorourke1 hahaha that had me laughing pretty hard.... id have a boner too if i was on that stage playing with those legends.

  • @42BassMaster42 well said my friend. well said.

  • Nothing like good sax! Love this and all versions!

  • Always a Dead classic, but the sax makes it lame. Nothing beats the live version from Live Dead 69'

  • Man I miss the days when pigpen used to sing this!

  • The funny thing about the saxophone you are hearing it really is a saxophone being played by clarence and not that oh so horrible, nasty, lame weak midi synthesizer bob bralove stuck in garcia's guitar. the same guitar that could produce trumpet, flute, bassoon noise. Why could he not leave jerry's guitar alone,it got me high thru the 70's and 80's.Why try to fix something that is not broken.bob bralove go back to from where you came.

  • I don't remember a whole lot because the brown acid had a pretty good hold on me that night. I laughed alot.

  • The big man Clarence Clemons on sax?

  • This is so much fun, I love it

  • jerry smiling and dancing , and bobby and his shorts lol

  • too bad pigpens gone, still sounds good

  • ummm....pig left a really long time ago.

  • Good Jam. but doesn't sound as good unlike when Pigpen would sing this song.

  • old school eh? it's all good, Jerry & CC jamming.

  • f**kin sweet!!!

  • wish i was old enough to be at these shows!!

  • 89 was my first show, I was 16 I think....lucky me!

  • you think you were 16 in '89? you don't know?
