  • imma fav this becaue of the sexy as hell sound track xD

  • 1:49 computer fail

  • I dnt wanna just deploy to iraq or somthing. I heard this mos deploys to a lot of different countries is it true?

  • my recruiter told me this is better then 42 alpha is this true? i accepted this mos because the enlistment bonus is high.. but the job looks boring can someone who is in 92y let me know thanks :)

  • @JessNAle I have been doing supply for 5 years and this job sucks.

  • training in retail?

  • He who controls the toilet paper controls the company ;)

  • oh yea this the job im doin Army Strong!!!!!!

  • ps: Everyone is a pog except 11 series and 18 series.

  • @ReverendNillerz not at all, 19 series were pogs now? im pretttty sure i do an infantrymens job and better

  • @ayepolson eh, 19D maybe, but other than that, 19 series is a pog series.

  • "You'll also be in charge of tactically acquiring large amounts of things the government has lost track of, and supplying them to your units soldiers after telling them not to say where they got it"

  • 92y with the infantry for 4 years plus iraq, yea the job sucks when your with a combat unit, you have to earn your right to NOT be called a pog....your out the wire with them instead of that "office job" you were told you would have....the paperworks a headache of course....but like I said I was with the infantry and I would go back to war and rough with them anyday, never knew what a support unit was like but im sure its lame with 110% pog's runnin around. ps, n.g/reserves suck active is the way

  • I'm an E-2 as a 92Y And I can tell you that everything that usually needs to be done, the supply sergeant does it and you don't ever learn your job until you get to your unit. Sometimes even second unit. Usually there's nothing that really needs to be done so I find myself having to help out at the motorpool or dome some lame bitch work. Maybe it's because I'm in Air Defense, I don't know. But on the plus side....it has been voted as one of the better MOS's to have.

  • anyone have this mos? how was it in Iraq or Afghanistan?

  • @supremo502

I do, i was in iraq. Its not that bad once you get there. But your responsible for all gear and equipment getting shipped overseas. So lots of packing and inventories. Once you get there you have to get your supply lines set up which is a pain but then everything is smooth til you get ready to leave then its more packing and inventories. P.S. DONT VOLUNTEER FOR THE PLANE LOADING OR UNLOADING CREW, IT SUCKS!!!

  • @pdaisy8 do u get an M4 rifle? did you get to fire it? this is probably a female majority MOS am i right? thanks for the reply!

  • @supremo502

No we had m16's I got to fire it but not in iraq. Its not all females there are alot of males too. The males are mainly in charge. lol we didnt go off the base much unless to go get supplies but we had alot of security we just let them do their jobs and we do ours. But of course you can volunteer to go out with people if you want to. Our entire unit didnt see too much action, i went with engineers thou.

  • This is the place to be. you can rip off so many soldiers for their money in this MOS. They are always asking for shit they dont need and you can make them pay for it. HAHA, you probably could double your pay if you do it right

  • @OmNomNomNomNomNomism not true. it's not even possible to make a soldier pay for gear and if it was it would come out of their check, not cash. you sir are a fucking moron.

  • @SensesFailx13xx

Excuse me, But we do make soldiers pay for gear that is lost. Trust me im a 92y, and have been for 4 years. It will come out of their check, and in the event they get out of the military we have your social and when you file your taxes the army will get the money that is owed to them. Its called a statement of charges. look it up.

  • @pdaisy8 i know what a statement of charges is, he was trying to say that if you work in the supply room and somone asked for somthing like eye pro or somthing you could charge them cash for it and pocket the money. not possible.

  • @SensesFailx13xx

Nope you cant do that. I wish you could lol but you cant.

  • @pdaisy8 you wish you could rip soldiers off? what an asshole. i work hard for my money ill be damned if i pay for somthing i can get for free lol.

  • @SensesFailx13xx

That was a JOKE did you see the LOL part afterward. Im a soldier too we dont get paid enough as is, i wouldnt do anything like that. Plus we have to pay enough in taxes and other bs to take everything we can for free. But for real, i have seen some supply people take gear that is left laying around and sell it to army surplus and then give the soldier a statement of charges. thats jacked up. wrong on both parts guess that will teach them to leave their stuff around.

  • haha and you can hear the less than masculine music playing specifically for this one. No offense to anyone in it hehe.

  • i got this MOS -___-...ima switch it when i get the chance

  • i got 92g. ugh, i cant wait to re-enlist for a diff mos

  • POGs!

  • @rustysgirl78 mmmm sorry to tell you this unless u are infantry u are a People Other Than A Grunt. (Pog)

  • your basically a maid

  • @kinghur So they clean and dust?

  • my lil brother leaves monday to go to boot camp then this is his mos....hope he will be ok...looks like a good job to have i hope for him it is

  • this is a good job if you want to travel.......I say that because this job is in every unit....you could get station at places like Japan.....Cuba...The white House....and any other spot the Army is....hell im in Miami now

  • OK Seriously who would go to a recruiter asking for this job? Sounds like a job you get if you mess up doing something else.

  • @lou4brew I have something clear: I love action and adventures. No, not because I have played to much games or watch many movies (most of these people that trys to enlist in the army, marines or any elite of those branches fail because they don't think seriously). But as a person that would like to have action and adventure in the army and live for it, I can tell you that not all people that wants to enlist or are already in the army thinks like me, and this job is VERY important.

  • I Leave for BT 20100126 an I have a job at fort indiantown gap PA as an E4 92Y

  • Comment removed

  • now the fuck am I catching an attitude dude?! I just said Im filling an E4 slot! Just cuz you cant re-enlist cuz of new faces dont take it out on us! an FYI.. maybe you should go back over the corp values!!! cuz your lacking 90% of them!

  • Comment removed

  • the Army Values! If you dont remember your values, then maybe you dont deserve to re enlist.

  • Comment removed

  • well from what I can remember my Drill Sergeant told everyone. NEVER disrespect others. An what your doing is disrespecting me an everyone else who is joining. an that is not fallowing the "R" in LDRSHIP! but like I said. I dont really care what rank you are, or that your calling me PRIVATE cuz I am! so your not hurting me by telling me the truth.

  • but I tell you one thing. your not going to make me feel like im worthless cuz when I come back in June, I would have done the hardest thing for my gender an more importantly, my size! so go ahead an talk shit about me. but atleast im fallowing my values.

  • Comment removed

  • but im just wasting my time on you. im not stooping to your direspecting level.

  • so you talked to your drill sgt already and you havnt even left? Get real, Im done wasting my time on you. IM UP HERE your down here. OKAY?

  • I have a drill sergeant at Drills. I've had drills for the past 2months! so get over yourself. if you would like, I can give you his number an you can talk to him yourself!

  • No Im quite alright. That isnt a drill sgt either. Thats what you call a "part time" drill sgt. You havnt done anything yet, stop arguing w/ me private. Actually you arnt even a private yet lol. Your a damn civilian. So just stop while your ahead.

  • AGAIN, your not hurting me by telling me the truth an your arguing back so therefore your no better. an he still went through school to become a dill sergeant so he's still a drill sergeant regardless. an btw. why delete all ur comments?! come on now, grow some! let others see what you've been saying! afraid that they'll agree with me?! I think so!

  • How old r u?

  • OOPS I misspelled maintenance. My apologies.

  • <68w and 92y

  • im thinking about reenlisting as this... the supplie guys in my old unit seem to make this job look pretty chill...

  • This is a easy MOS and you advance quick in rank. I have been in the reserves for 2 1/2 years and I am an E-5 in a maitenance unit. I did the Unit armorer course (2 weeks) and got my stripes.

  • I have been doing this job for 9 years....and if you want to know what you do in this job go get the movie buffulo soldiers.....

  • I got 92Y, and this is pretty much what I used to do in my former job, as a warehouse manager...

I'll be leavin for BT, on the 8th of Feb 2010, anyone?!

  • i dont care how stressful it is. i am going to make my career this and i will serve for many years. i will do my best and i wont quite

  • and why do people just pick a god damn job? for instance........"I am this, is it good?" DONT PICK IT IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THE HELL YOUR GETTING YOURSELF INTO.........VERY STRESSFULL JOB!!!! IT SUCKS!!!! IT HAS ITS UPS AND DOWNS THOUGH

  • stay away from the 92y series....you little shit bags are the reasons im not able to re enlist right now, nor get a bonus. STAY AWAY! WE ARE OVER STRENGTHED

  • Okay Im suppost to stay away from 92Y just cuz you cant re enlist!? get the fuck over it dude! the world doesnt revolve around you!

  • i am this is it good....

  • so im still deciding whether i should be a unit supply man. can someone help me answer some questions??

do unit supply go to combat ?

how much do they get pay?

    n wat do they do??

    please help thx

  • Unit Supply Specialists do not go to combat. Im not promising you that you're not gonna go to Iraq or Afghanistan, but if you do, you will not be in combat. You will just be working in warehouses and other buildings that they need u too.

Unit Supply Specialist get paid just like any other MOS in the Army, but depending on your rank of course.

And they do what this video just showed you of course LOL

  • I'm a 92Y and another 92Y in my unit got deployed and was in combat in Afghanistan.

  • My girlfriend is heading to Fort Lee for AIT to become a 92Y. Do you like your job?

  • Let me put it to you this way. I have been in the Army for eight years total. I left after 6 and reenlisted and now I am in the Army Reserves. It took me only 2 years to make Sergeant. Now I am a staff sergeant and I had only at that time been in the military for 4 years. Fort Lee is easy.

  • She choose a great MOS that has fast advancement oppurtunities. You quickly become the commanders and the executive officer's best friend! The commander can/will expedite promotions if you do an outstanding job. Believe Me. It is a great MOS.

  • I am an E-5 (Sergeant) and I have been in the army for only 2 1/2 years! Your unit comes to you for everything. You will be the man and the commander's/LT's(lieutenants) right hand man. Trust me.

  • Thanks for all the awesome info. I just haven't heard too much from her at Basic and I was curious about her job. Thanks again!

  • i just signed up a couple months back and this is the MOS i get. Its not that bad lol..a mean, i hope it isnt!

  • I was a 92y.. and man it was a headache some days. This MOS could be good if you have a good chain of command. If not it's a pain.

  • also know what equipment the unit is signed for , and who is the hand reciept holder, and your commander and executive officer will be very pleased with you.

the three worst things a supply guy can go through is

    1. 4 months to deployment

    2. change of command inventories

    3. reset period (getting back from theater)

  • In this MOS you get shitted on a lot, especially if you are a E4 and below. Imagine if you are a PFC, and tell an SFC to review and sign his sub hand reciept.

It also involves a lot of paperwork

DA 2062, 3161, 2765 , 4186, 1687, are the ones you want to concentrate on the most.

  • Not as important as a 92a. You can't do anything-ANYTHING-without us. Na i'm just talkin shit, but yah..it's almost like a 92a but not quite.

  • ^ might be true, but its a sham job 92A. all you guys really do is recieve products and hand them out to the supply guys for their unit.

  • any where your unit goes you go, what ever they do, you do if your unit goes to the front guess where your butt is going? thats right to the front. all servicemembers are heroes when they come back because when you are overseas coming back to the US is the one thing you want to get to do. God keep our soldiers safe.

  • Looking to get into this MOS if I don't get into 46Q.

  • do these guys ever see any combat over in iraq and afganistan?

  • Is this a pretty good MOS? I mean that's what im going to be and need to know a little about it.

  • I am the best 92Y in the United States Army.

  • hooah! :]

  • YEAH, !! We Rock!! None ever know how important we are.
