Now, about your doubt: 1) They are people who upgrade their PSP as Sony requires, so the can enjoy the Store 2) There are people who rather buying new games than running homebrew 3) An there are people with a 100% hackable PSP (like mine), so it doesn't matter what firmware they have, they ALWAYS can downgrade their PSP. @1therambo You have to have a higher version to upgrade to. For instance, there's a firmware 6.31 that will work on your PSP.

@TwinDaggerz Your update must be corrupted. Download the update from another site (for instance my blog). If the error persists, format your MS on your PC, and then on your PSP. Cheers!

@juegew3 It will depend on you having or not a PSP 100% hackable. On PSP 2000 with doomed mobo (TA-88v3) and PSP 3000 is not possible at the moment.

how to do i upgrade my psp 3000? :( i downloaded the psp 6.30 EBOOT and connected my psp to the computer and then i put the EBOOT file into my GAME folder and then i went to the game files on the psp and it showed no files??? what am i doing wrong? :(

I Updated mine easily I just went on System Update and it jsut update to 6.30

@sonicrush15 Thanks for the tip!! This procedure can be used if you have a custom firmware and want to install the lasted version, or if you can't connect your PSP to internet (for example, when you don't have a WiFi router). Cheers!
