well i beat the wall of flesh i say its full name because i think it shows respect but anyway it took my ledrundary nights edge and when i killed him he droped a unreal cloack work assalt riffle now correct me if im wrong but unreal is less then led but it dealt more damage!i did get a little greedy so i reforged it i got a buff so bad it cost 1 copper!not joking ether i click it again and it gives me a led c.a.r.(clockwork assault rifle)and it felt like the best wep in the game!

@W0lfPack98 First off, you can't get the Unreal enchant on the Clockwork Assault Rifle. Secondly, you also can't get the Legendary enchant on a ranged weapon. Thirdly, Legendary and Unreal are the same. Lastly, NO WEAPON in the game will reforge for only one copper (with the exception of the Space Gun reforge bug, fixed in 1.1.1). And as an afterthought, 'cloack work'? Really?

but its 20 every shot = 60 - not counting 10 extra for a bullet which is 90 damage

most of it is blocked by defense but otherwise it would be the most dmg in one attack weapon in game (not highest dps)

This is a very good weapon, but I find that when you use Meteor shots, only one bullet actually hits the target, and the rest fly off. If you use any other bullet, they all hit fine. You can also get it early on, as compared to the Megashark. Megashark's better for damage, but Clockwork's better for ammo conservation. Also, it does have an effect on enemy movement, aside from a large enemy like the Unicorn. For medium-small units, it at least stops their movement, but doesn't knock back.

Well its guarrentied to not cosume ammo 66% of the time vs the minisharks possible 25% and it does over 3 times as much damage and its only like 75% of the minisharks speed so i say its way better than the minishark save youre mony and reforge this thing to make it even better

Clockwork Assault Rifle is weaker than megashark. But its an awesome projectile weapon aswell. i got no ranger gear just +15% dmg and each burst i do around 150 dmg using silver bullets. Actually im farming the Wall of flesh with Clockwork rifle and it takes around 60-90 seconds to take WOF down. thats much faster than new player like myself would expect:)

I have a keen clockwork assault rifle, and I find it best for fighting big bosses like the Wall of Flesh, Skeletron, etc. I think its an OK weapon just cuz it does quick damage.

Meteor shots aren't effective on only one enemy. They'll deal one or two hits, usually, since they can only hit at a certain rate. Normal bullets are guaranteed to hit if they touch the enemy.

It's more than 60. The ammo also does damage, you have extra's like godly or demonic, and there are Emblems. Mine has 45 dmg per hit, and afterburn damage. It's great!

I dont use meteor or silver shot as it has no knockback, normal shot will stop them in their tracks. Also only the first bullet will hit when using meteor shot, the rest will pass through it.

my "demonic clockwork assault rifle" does 30 dmg when i have my adamantite armor and ranger emblem on, that stacks with 16 dmg from cursed bullets and the no knockback thing is bull because cursed bullets have some knockback to them....

so, 46 dmg times 3 shots is 138 with a 21% critical strike chance= EPIC!1!!1!!!!

@tictac111100 Depends, if theres a group, then use crystal bullets, theres not much of an initial damage difference, just about 3 damage I think it was, and unless my game is fucked up, crystal bullets have a kind of AoE effect(the crystals that fly everywhere when the bullet hits something) so it causes higher dps. Kind of like the harp, shitty damage, (kinda) great DPS

@tothemax99 agreed, just posting this to help with people getting the facts. around 01:17 or so you can easily see that it does something like 18 18 13 damage, something like that. so instead of 20 it did around 50 in reality. making it a pretty decent weapon, although not 100% reliable because ALL of the 3 bullets have to actually hit for it to do 60 damage. meaning if you're inaccurate you may have problems with it.

I use this weapon all the time. It attacks for twenty damage for each bullet and shoots three bullets therefore equaling around sixty damage per trigger pull. Plus it only consumes ammo on the first bullet used in the three round burst making ammo last three times as long.

Hero, there is a glitch where meteor shots only hit the target once. If u use any other type of bullets it will hit 3 times , plus if you use ranged armor set it will go up to 30-35 damage

The clock work was my favorite weapon for the longest time. All you have to do is upgrade it to get knock back and accuracy then you can kill any non bosses easily. And if you use crystal bullets it isn't that inaccurate even if you don't upgrade accuracy.
