I don't know if you care, but there's a little problem with the emerald version and the "ShiniesHunt"... Like a bug or something... =/ It's difficult for me to explain it in English, but if you whish so, I can give you a link, which explain how that "bug" works, and how to use it (okay, using it is bad, but it can be useful, for strategie, for example). =)

@BoxBrunch in emerald and only emerald the RNG is like, easy to crack. Smogon guys discoverd that if ur ID has at least one 3 as the last #, and a bunch of others, its really easy to get a shiny

Soft resetting means reseting your game to the title screen (Nothing will happen to data) To do it for DS Pokemon Games it is L+R+SELECT+ START HOLD THEM DOWN TOGETHER. GBA is A+B+SELECT+START HOLD THEM DOWN TOGETHER. Hope I helped
