  • These ships are alowed to dump tons and tons of sewage in the ocean in costal waters. UN FUCKING ACCEPTABLE.

  • Just suppose that half of the crap on the beach was not intended as refuse. Hurricanes can easily was out the contents of people's homes and only the floating plastic items would appear on the beaches. Bottles and plastic or rubber shoes firmly fit that category.

  • Well, it's Mexico...why should the shore look any different than the rest of the shithole country.

  • hey that's my shoe!

  • Wonder if the dude just yelled "shoe" or did he actually care enough to pick up some of the garbage he found?

  • Another shoe!!

  • I wonder if he'll find any shoes there

  • I never throw garbage except in the trash !!! it bothers me so bad whn I see people litter . bc this is our world we should treat mother earth kind so she is good to us and will bearound for a long time . But I know not everyone will listen , pretty soon it will be tooooo late and then we will all be crying .

  • wherever the Eastern influence is there is poverty and disease and loads of garbage....it doesnt matter where you're from we all make trash...the camera used to make this video will one day end up in the dumps you hate so much, the shoes you are wearing,.....so unless your walking around naked, barefoot and drinking water from passing rain clouds...SHUTTTTTTTT UP...instead of bitching about shoes...organize a group to pick them up and clean up the beaches locally...

  • But other than that, great video!

  • It should also be noted (as you seem to think that the Caribbean pollution is a result of cruise ship companies) that the area called "The Wider Caribbean" is special area under MARPOL and cannot have any kind of waste discharged into it..whether that be paper/medal. Only victual food waste can be tossed overboard and it is all Cruise Ship companies policy's to not toss food overboard but instead put it in the "pulper" and "land" it shore-side once in port with other plastics and papers.

  • This is pure rubbish. Cruise ship companies, notably Royal Caribbean, have programs in place such as "Save the Waves" to prevent this stuff from happening. MARPOL 73/78, or International Law of the Sea, prohibits any dumping of plastic into the ocean. Regulated victual food waste, paper/carboard, and medals are allowed to be discharged...and because of an oil slick/spill from Royal Caribbean in the early 2000's, most (if not all) cruise ship companies have created an Environmental Officer job.

  • Nonsense!!!! all cruise lines have adopted stringent international laws MARPOL!!!!! have modern waste treatment plants on board. what you show in your silly little film is for sure garbage generated locally. Take your cam inland in Jamaica, dom.Rep. Puerto Rico and see how the natives treat their won island.......

  • Dislike.

  • :((((
