@robelinda2 ..how can u say that...at the 250 wicket stage, he is ahead and has a better average....i know its a bit of a stretch comparing him to wasim now.....but give him some credit....the man has been bowling in these times which are the worst for bowlers, against batsman with the heaviest bats on the flatest of pitches...give him 5 yrs and he will be as good as wasim....
@jumpnjza2 Wasim has played 104 test matches while Dale has only played 50. Compare him when Wasim was on his 50th test match.
Wasim :
50 test matches - 21.23 avg. SR- 45.2
Steyn :
50 test matches - 22.82 avg. SR - 39.3.
And let us not forget that Wasim bowled in places like Pakistan, India, SriLanka, Sharjha and many Asian grounds with success. Dale Steyn (The best ATM) does not perform well in Aisa. Example the World Cup 2011 or Ind vs SA (10dulkars 200*) or SA vs Pak in Dubai.
@walE3dk Waqar Younis of 89 til 95 was even more distructive than Akram I wonder if he'd played on south african pitches his avg would be 15 or something..
@imthemess Regardless of the fact he played mostly in Aisa, he is still a tremendous bowler. There is no bowler, in this era, that could match a bowler from late 70's to early 2000's. Steyn is best atm but no where near the calibre of W & W's or even Pollock & Donald.
@imthemess Steyn is better than Pollock but i was saying that Pollock and Donald were more destructive than Steyn and his partner. Ofcousre Steyn is a standout bowler. Fazal Mahmood was a ledgend. His 10 wicket haul against Eng was memorable. May ALLAH bless him
@walE3dk imo = in my opinion .. yeah I seen cricinfo all time list fazal was there.. i'd rate him very highly his first 100 wickets came on his 22nd test match,, fought as a lone warrior also not to forget khan mohd for his 57 wickets in 13 tests matches with an avg of 25 but sadly he got injured..
@imthemess Much appreciated, thanks. Amazing video. Fazal was perhaps the first 'real' breed of fast bowlers, especially from Asia. From his appearance to his bowling -everything was great about him.
@imthemess Waqar was very good, infact the best imo, depth bowler. He would usually end such games on a positive mind set. Imran once said "Waqar was not as talented as Wasim but he was far more strong and tough mentally". There is another video where Srilanka require 1 run of qualifly on run-rate of 6 balls and C.Vaas is batting. Waqar then bowled him to secure the win.
@walE3dk the same match when afridi scored 100 off 37? yeah i know he tied another match vs NZ when he took 6/26.. but Idk why sadaf hussain aint playing he avgs 16 in 1st class with an strike rate of 36.. I remembered guls terrible test avg of 34.. in tests I'd rate asif higher than akthar,, over all shoaib is better but no where near to Fazal-Imran-Akram & Waqar.. he wasnt utilised properly .. oh & thanks happy new year cheers !!
@imthemess Yeah same where Afridi scored 37 ball 100. I agree Sadaf Husain is a mighty fine talent. He went to West Indies but could not play (politics or luck? idk) He could be better than Amir, if given a proper chance, his record speaks volume for his abilities. I also believe that Irfan Khan (Paki Gorel Garner) should be given another chance. He is much better than bowler than his unlucky debut in Eng,
@imthemess Pardon me, I meant Mohammad Irfan, the 7 Feet fast bowler.
Shoaib was never match ready, he was injured too often. So i would not say that Pakistan wasted him. That would be a bit too harsh. Shoaib and PCB are equally responsible for his loss. But was a genuine match winner. Asif was pure class - the best (2010's) and was better than Steyn imo.
Amir said "You can find 100's of bowlers like me in Pak but there will never be a bowler like Asif, again". That sums up his class.
@robelinda2 I've thought of another one - Steve Waugh vs Sachfail Tendulkar (for once he didn't flop!) in the 1992 World Series at the SCG (got that?)
@robelinda2 He wasn't shit then, but that shot reminded me of pre-iceman Waugh when he kept on just doing enough to keep his place in the team with bat or ball, before the 1989 Ashes series (excluding a couple of years from 1990-91).
@CoolStoryBrosauce ,.. dude, you need to listen to paul condon's and vinod kambli's statement about 2 weeks back... else, yeah pakistanis are match fixers if hanse, azhar, jadeja, gibbs, samules, all are pakistanis........
@parshiwal887 ha no need to get your dhoti in a twist , cronje azhar samuels have done their time unlike W.Justice Qayum on Akram -
"For Wasim I had some soft corner for him. He was a very great player, a very great bowler and I was his fan, and therefore that thing did weigh with me." LOL
@vigilantez78 justice qayyum declared him ''suspicious'' and not ''guilty'' of match fixing unlike atta ur rehman and saleem malik who were banned for life......
The GREAT WASIM AKRAM was not a good fielder and c&b are always difficult for fast bowlers and there r many Australian bowlers who have missed simple c&b so it does not mean that Aus is Fail.
HEY ROB SACHIN IS UR DAD AND WASIMS DAD...THE MASTER WILL HAVE U ON UR KNEES...kidding haha just wanted to see how it felt being a stupid Indian sheep.
@indianpunjabi4u Wasim's dad? huh? Wasim his own man and always been the GREATEST FAST BOWLER, does Tendulkar's name have to spring up in every cricket video?.. I thought monkeys were Gods for Indians, how did that change?
From 1989 on that bloody limpet Waugh used to piss me off more than any other batsman in the world - ever. That and the fact the we were totally shit, of course.
@robelinda2 Hey mate is it possible for you to put together a Chris Martin batting compilation? That would be insanely funny to watch, provided you have footage of NZ tests
@IRuleCricket Pakistan failed to take that wicket, hence the *PAKISTAN FAIL*. It would have been a brilliant caught and bowled, if he had caught it, hence the CAUGHT AND BOWLED.....almost. So therefore the title is perfect.
GREATEST LEFT ARM BOWLER OF ALL TIMEE. NO ONE IN MODERN ERA EVEN COMES CLOSE TO THIS LEGEND. BLESS U WASIM AKRAM.

@robelinda2
Don't think you can say that. In tests, Steyn has a better average & strike rate than Akram did.
Akram:
Avg - 23.62, SR - 54.6
Steyn:
Avg - 22.82, SR - 39.3
