i think the game's sequal (Half Blood Prince) reads spells better. The only problem i had was with Protego and Expelliarmus. This game however, whole DUEL theory i dont like. if you lose all your health, youre sent to the Hospital Wing, where you have to walk where you JUST WHERE all over again!!! I once had to walk back there 3 times just cuz i lost! However i have never lost a duel in the Half Blood Prince, so i dont know if it's the same or not.
The insane architects who built this place are godric gryffindor, helga hufflepuff, rowena ravenclaw, and salazar slytherin. ravenclaw built the grounds so yell at her for making the stairs move!

Hmmm, seems interesting. Until a couple years ago i never had any experience with HP either until one of my ex's friends would bring over each movie in order every week and we'd watch'em together. I have to say i enjoyed them, and kinda want to see the most recent one. But i won't go out of my way. But an open world game? Sounds like a movie game that does things right for once! And i did see this movie, and i have to say it is quite faithful to the imagery and character designs!

This review cracks me up. As someone well familiar with HP (I've read all of the books except Rowling's biography and "Beedle the Bard", and I've seen the first four films), it's hilarious listening to the WV try to explain things while repeatedly tripping over "Hogwarts". Then..."I asked one of my nerd--well-read friends..." RICTUSEMPRA, that was funny. (And at least he's smart enough not to say anything derogatory about HP itself.)

@Wrash16: yes, dueling has definitely been improved in the sixth and potions are a lot of fun but I like the fifth more. I felt it more immersive and I prefer the spell commands of OOTF even though they are akwardly registered.
with this game what they tried to do and succeeded in doing is make the game map identical to the movie map. it only took me about six hours to beat this but i thought it was okay. the only thing i hated about it was the annoying part when you duel Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle entirely on your own and then Umbridge barges in and takes you out in one shot.
i had this game for a year. in one puzzle, the guy asked for you to get his camera, so i got it, but i just got lucky with a spell. Then he didn't except the camera, even when it was right in front of him. I could have gotten super paper mario, but mom made me get this.
i had this game because my friend sold it to me on 360 for 5 pounds and the sold for 15 pounds. The wii verison graphic are very identical to the 360 version.
I think, although you have never had any relation to the Harry Potter franchise you have given a good review and i'm happy you weren't biast to your situation. Even though you did mention fans would enjoy the features of this game I think it would have been better if you took a fan's point of view into more consideration as this could give the wrong idea to a fan and make this game seem bad when (me being a BIG fan of HP) I and my friends have found this game very entertaining.

I know because harry potter is a bad driver and he crashed 1962 ford anglia into an evil tree and the car got mad and drove away without Harry Potter later a big spider almost had them for dinner but the car came and saved them and thats the last time he saw his car!

@Wrash16: yes, dueling has definitely been improved in the sixth and potions are a lot of fun but I like the fifth more. I felt it more immersive and I prefer the spell commands of OOTF even though they are akwardly registered.

with this game what they tried to do and succeeded in doing is make the game map identical to the movie map. it only took me about six hours to beat this but i thought it was okay. the only thing i hated about it was the annoying part when you duel Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle entirely on your own and then Umbridge barges in and takes you out in one shot.

i had this game for a year. in one puzzle, the guy asked for you to get his camera, so i got it, but i just got lucky with a spell. Then he didn't except the camera, even when it was right in front of him. I could have gotten super paper mario, but mom made me get this.

i had this game because my friend sold it to me on 360 for 5 pounds and the sold for 15 pounds. The wii verison graphic are very identical to the 360 version.

I think, although you have never had any relation to the Harry Potter franchise you have given a good review and i'm happy you weren't biast to your situation. Even though you did mention fans would enjoy the features of this game I think it would have been better if you took a fan's point of view into more consideration as this could give the wrong idea to a fan and make this game seem bad when (me being a BIG fan of HP) I and my friends have found this game very entertaining.

um. why not make harry potter kart wii? I know because harry potter is a bad driver and he crashed 1962 ford anglia into an evil tree and the car got mad and drove away without Harry Potter later a big spider almost had them for dinner but the car came and saved them and thats the last time he saw his car!
