it kinda pisses me off that america actually thought this show was going to be succesful but the problem is that most american competetors take game shows like this seriously unlike the japanese versionin which they enjoy joking around for the sake of entertainment which just makes the japanese version much more enjoyable but judging by that first person's reaction i'll give this a try

Hiatus means that a show is taken off the schedule but not cancelled. It will return in January of 2009 sunday nights at 7 Eastern. It was taken off because of low ratings, which I don't know why, its a great family show. FOX needs to put it at 8:30pm sunday nights.

Personally I'm waiting for Celebrity Hole in the Wall with a few "washed up" actors.

The general point of the show is to appear and act ridiculous - look at how they preview the contestants - by size. The only way Fox could make it more obvious is to display BMI along with height and weight, not that viewers can't do some rough calculations.
