Possession of marihuana (Canadian spelling of the popular drug) IS a criminal offence.

Under 30grams, or less than 1gram of hash oil, will net you a summary charge unless it can be shown that the possession was for the purpose of trafficking... which is a whole new can of worms. Smoking, or "doing", drugs isn't technically illegal... but how can you "do" drugs if you're not in possession of them? It's not a criminal offence to be "high", but it is to possess drugs (under CDSA of Canada).

Yeah, I actually thought of that, but I was thinking they would probably get charged, because can't you not stay in like a park or anything, only in the day? Parks and all that eventually close, so they'd have to do it in a forest.. but then again, being in a tree would be weird, they would have to bring a lot of their own food and stuff, I'm thinking that competition is a good idea, but it wouldn't really work out.
