  • Elegancko idzie pontonik, ale polecam przedluzke do rumpla.

  • put some weight on the front, It will get on plane faster.

  • Are those 4 stroke or 2 stroke?

  • Some of the mercury engines are made by tohatsu i think up to 40hp

  • good for you

  • Tohatsu engines are the best built! I own 2 of them and they are quieter and more fuel economical than my old Johnson.

  • to bad there so heavy for there size 81 pounds my 1958 10hp johnson weighs 58 and would blow the doors any rice burnin motor of the same hp

i hope you feel good about your self buying these rices and putting americans out of jobs

  • And you show clearly just how much you do not know about what you're talking about.

Put your engine on a scale - it weighs 78 lbs.

The 6hp Tohatsu is 55 lbs.

I'm glad you're happy with your heavy antique that uses 3X the fuel and pollutes like mad.

  • those new 4-srokes up to 6hp are just blenders. they rev like shit. ok, the old 6hp 2-strokes 2 cil are more heavy but they have power. 8hp and more 2-stroke wins with power en weight.

  • i dont understand where you got these number went to the old omc site for the johnsons weight and went to the tohatsu site for its weight

  • sorry johnson-evinrude is made last decade in "mexico"..........and latest engines in "china".......

  • wrong some of the parts were but the motors them self were always usa build or candian build

  • some of the new mercs are build in china but evinrude-johnson were NEVER build in china i have a 2001 johnson 150hp the last model ever buidl and in HUGE letters on the air filter in say made in USA

  • i like your sayin and thinkin. =]

i have a 15hp 1981 evinrude that "while running" went totaly underwatter (sunk john boat). i flipped my john boat back over put gas to it and she fired right up no problem and pushed me back home. lets put a jap made motor underwatter and see how it does. haha

evinrude, johnson, and mercury are the best outboards.

  • sorry = not true......

  • @kddcc I dont know a whole lot about engines, but what about yamaha. I have a yamaha 2stroke 6hp on my inflatable and it runs great.

  • to bad there to so heavy and slow
