Paul Bracq's Design masterpiece the E24, still looks fresh and timeless even today! Saw one in a street in London a few weeks ago, a 1984 635i Orange red edition looked stunning! made the other parked cars look very ordinary! Good as the E63 is, it just can't compete in Design Critical terms with the E24. Even the cockpit and dashboard of the E24 is superior in every way!

The E24 is one of the most amazing autos. There is more heart and soul put into it than the plastic toy cranked out of a mold there next to it. The video was gr8 here but lost many cool points when you see the right foglight is out. Oops

Well, I'd imagine the maintenance costs would be on the expensive side, but after driving it a bit, I can definitely say that it's smooth and has decent pick-up for its time.
