  • too much meat for such amount of bulgar and where are onion garlic tomato pepper paste and I think u boiled bulgar before mix ?

  • @13faka @13faka I did not boil the bulgur before the mix. If you like more bulgur than meat by all mean you are welcome to do so. As for the onion and parsley we like it sprinkled over the coufte if you prefer to mix it with the koufta you can. We never put garlik in the raw koufta dish neither we put tomato paste. the meat in the koufta along with the paprika gives the koufta a nice enough color. Many take a basic idea and adjust it to their personal taste. Thanks for posting

  • I love this lady!

  • @TOOOZ2000 Thanks.

  • For proper cigkofte you need also pepper paste or tomate paste(depends how you like) and mixed white onion in the bulgur. It is a nice video but far far away from original.

  • @sertyusuf Thanks for your input. I have never tried it with tomato paste. I Usually put finely chopped onion in the chi koufta. But since My guest sometimes don't favor onion in the koufta, I add the onions over the kouftas.

  • wrong preparation, missing ingredient tottal false is not real cig köfte.

  • Wow! Thank you! This is amazing. :-)

  • @superherohealthcare You are welcome.

  • this person dosnt know . its waaay difrent she forgot a lot of intrig. she knows nothing

  • Syrians call this Kebbe Nayeh. But we use 3/4 bulgar to 1/4 raw lean meat. And when you dip it in pomegranite sauce it is to dieeeeeeeee for!!! :)~ (Don't let the idea of it being raw gross you out, it's actually delicioussssss)!!

  • this have nothing with cigkofte to do, this was BVADRRRR , i am cigkofte fan and i will never eat a cigkofte like this

  • This is not the place for political diatribe. Many immigrants in the US make food the way their mom made it, and the video is a generous gift. She doesn't have to make it the way you do. She offers her history and heritage and serves it up as a gift to share. Please accept her gift - there is no reason to say that this is not authentic or anything else other than a variation on what we know and love. You post your video, and see how you feel when others attack it.

  • it's not Urfa but RIHA since turkey have changed all the kurdish cities names, and burn 3500 kurdish village.

So don't speak with me in turkish i am not turkish and i don't care about your poor turk life many of Kurd and armanian blood.

Where does the bulgur grows up in turkey ? please tell me where?

  • @NergizAmed lol. why are u writing or talking english?are u english?i and u both know u can speak Turkish bro.anyhow i am gonna speak with u in english as u wished aint no problem.of of please stop making pkk terrorist proganda in here. your brain is totally washed.and i know nothing is gonna change your mind. comme onnn u cant be serious. bulgur is not a plant u idiot it cant be grown up.bulgur is made from wheat. Kernels of whole wheat are steamed, dried and then crushed to make bulgur..

  • @NergizAmed as u know wheat (buğday) is the most common plant that can grows every part of Türkiye. old times in every house in Türkiye especially in the willages there were big stones in the yards for cracking wheat and making bulgur. nowadays bulgur is making in the big mills and factories.First bulgur factory is built in Karaman in 1971.there are a lot of bulgur factories around Türkiye in Mersin, in Malatya, Karaman,Konya, Gaziantep,Şanlıurfai... i mean bulgur in everywhere in Türkiye.

  • @NergizAmed after all of these are u still saying bulgur is kurdish?no u cant bro.and i cant say it is Turkish either.because bulgur is an ancient meal.Prepared by such ancient civilizations as the Babylonians, Hittites and Hebrews, bulghur has been a staple since at least 4,000 BC. Romans, Arabs and Egyptians have recorded its use as early as 1,000 BC. Common in the more easternly Mediterranean regions, it is also has a long history in the Ukarainian and Central Asian cuisines.

  • oh my god what kind of kofte is it !!!

    DAMNED!!!!!

it's a kurdish dish, it's call ACÎN (adjin). It from Urfa.

it's very very spicy dish (by urfa's pepper).

it is a dish reserved for men, it is difficult to prepare beacause the bulgur is normally long rubbed

  • @NergizAmed yok deve a.q. çiğ köfte nerden kürt yemeği oluverdi şimdi. adamlar utanmasa sikimizede sahip çıkacaklar yahuu.

  • @yamtartheturk tell me where is Urfa ??.. Urfa is kurdish

you can say what you want

there is no bulgur wich is growing up is turkey

bitch learn a bit more about turkey

    hot pepper+bulgur = kurdish food

  • @Nergiz Şanlı Urfa is not a kürdish city.(maybe in ur dreams u idiot) Şanlı urfa belongs TÜRKİYE.there are many arabs that live in Şanlı Urfa too. Does it mean Şanlı Urfa is a arabic city?siz kürtler harbi mal ve cahilsiniz.Bulgur, buğdayın kaynatılması, kurutulup kabuğunun soyulması ve değirmende öğütülmesiyle elde edilir, buğday nerede yetişir tüm TÜRKİYEDE yani neymiş bulgur Türkiyenin heryerinde yapılırmış.TÜRKİYENİN en ii bulguru da GAZİANTEP de yapılır ona da siz kürtler sahip çıkmazsanız

  • @yamtartheturk Turkiye-Diyarbakir

  • @NergizAmed Urfa is in Turkey, Just because the majority of the inhabitants are Kurds, does it not mean that Urfa is Kurdish!

  • Elini bandirdigi su limonlu su olmaliydi. Bazi bi kac eksik daha var ama yinede güzel bir yapim.

  • I have been making Koufte for years, patterned after how I remember my grandmother made it. I wish the demonstrator had given us quantities, for example, how much meat was used for that cup and a half of bulghur. Still, a delicious meal, and presented very well.

  • one of the best turkish dishes ever... the speciality for this dish is as u work the meat with the ingredients the meat cooks its self as u roll it... theres a special pan u roll it in there and it cooks itself as u roll.. thats how my dad does it and it tastes awesome!!!!

if any woman makes cigcofte by faking with water that fast all the guest will be pist tradition is worrk on hand very very long time min 1 hour than its real old school it is very very lebanese not ottoman way ...neither turkoman nor ottomanturk considering ottoman cusine is 600 yrs there must be an authentic recipie somewhere right

  • @artregeous there are menny ways to make a diche the old ways, are mostly taking tomuch time fore today, but if you have the time its a nice expirians, but if there are faster ways to get the same results, thats onley great! thame you have fine food in less time, look at it thar way before you gonna talk about tings like raping culture.

  • my favorite dish and you are very good at it

  • Cig kofte is from the Turkish cuisini!

  • I don't know. It's completely different than anything I've ever had, and yet, it looks like it could be very good.

I'd be willing to try it.

  • My husbund loves it too. Make sure the meat is fresh and lean. Buy it from a reputable butcher and let him know that you're not going to cool it..

  • lol ive been eating this dish alomost everyday never got sick

  • YOU CAN GET REALLY SICK EATING RAW MEAT

  • Great video it is almost like what the ethiopians call "KITFO"-The difference is-the Ethiopians make it almost only with beef; and they add much cooked butter & chili to it.

  • Great Video, I remember my grandmother used to make it in front of me when I was a child. She used to grind the steak, I believe it was filet. Is that correct?

  • This looks so good.
