I think the main difference between clogging and Irish Step Dance is that the step dance is meant for the dancers not to touch each other as a way of keeping the boys & girls from touching which is why they don't move their arms while dancing. But Clogging allows for arm movement & touching as part of the swing dance move. This was fun to watch. Liked the JibJab part also.
To slipjiggs. Some of it was Irish most of it was clogging but all were keeping the musical beat. I know there is a difference but is all fun. Relax my friend, It's supposed to make you happy not critical. Don't suppose you'd be interested in knowing that clog dancing originated from Irish folk dancing would ya.
