Monon Semaphore

I would have loved to have aquired one of these Monon Style S semaphore signals I just aquired one from the old Southern RR but its rod driven inside the pole not motordriven on top like these I think it came off a sigal bridge it has a short 5 foot pole but its missing the base and motor I got in a railroad collection out of a train room

cool video I have only ever seen these at night whle passing on the eastbound cardnel train i never got any shots of them I will be going west this year on this route I hope to at least see one left still operating

@gaycowboy31 Sorry all these are gone now. The last remaining 5 on this line were removed in Dec 14th 2010. There are still some on a line down south but that line was abandoned this past summer so no trains will be running on it anymore.

@Laser711 well thats a shame to hear but at least I have the memories of rolling across there in the middle of the night on the Open Back Porch Private Railcar I used to ride alot which is now also gone but I never was able to make a sucessfull night shot of one of these oh well
