If you listen to, for example, the Rollingstone acoustic of Cassie, and then EP of Cassie, Lacey sounds pretty much identical to CDs. However, if you listen to, say, Final Riot cover of Misery Business where Hayley has nothing done to her voice, then Riot version of Misery Business, there is a dramatic difference.
