  • I have an idea of what Avatar could have done different: Make a unique story...have characters that we care about...have better acting all together...have more than some fancy special effects. Avatar sucked!

  • @365daysgone Sucked? Oh really? You are going to need a lot more than a string of tired and factually dubious arguments lifted from the backlash haters circa Dec 2009. Care to explain?

  • LMFAO at Oscar academy :) Who cares, Oscar is outdated anyway. It's an award for hollywood kitschy bullshits :)

  • The Academy must be FULL of Republicans if this happened. Avatar is a Democratic film, if you look at it. While The Hurt Locker is a Republican film with war etc.

  • @vincnetflores118 avatar was joke, like transformers 2....yeah great effects but thats it, besides that what can you find great about these films, the academy awards give an award to movies with great story in them something that avatar lacked, im no republican, but hurt locker was fucking epic. I did enjoy avatar but its just so overrated its annoying so now it makes me hate it

  • @whothebitchnowsucka You couldn't be more wrong! The effects are the LEAST significant aspect of Avatar. How can you not see its meaning? Did you just not catch how deep it is? It goes much farther into society's issues than The Hurt Locker. What's your problem with the story? Hurt Locker, epic? That it may be, but Avatar's plot kicks Locker's ass all over the place as far as being epic! Don't hate because of the hype. I was turned off by the hype too UNTIL I SAW IT. Avatar = UNDERRATED!

  • @torukmakto4 Avatar is a crappy story that were all tired of and you are looking way too deep into the meaning of the movie. yes we all get that it symbolizes the native americans but that doesnt make it a great film. and also no marine would ever betray humanity like that thats a slap in the face to the marine corps and the hurt locker was great giving us a story that we actually want to see and something we want to know more about noone has given us a movie about iraq quite like this

  • @state135 Just what do you mean, looking too deep? How dare you tell me, or anyone else, how deep to look into Avatar, or any other film? That only proves my point: you fail to understand it because you are unwilling to. Native Americans are the least of it! Avatar connects to EVERYTHING. Conflicts from every era and culture, including your beloved Iraq War. Imperialism. Corporate corruption. Materialism. Human condition, destiny, spirituality, attitudes toward science and within science...

  • @state135 You also don't seem to realize that Jake did NOT "betray humanity". He betrayed a massively corrupt corporation (RDA) bent on exploiting everything within reach for profit, and led the defeat of its mercenary forces. Jake acted EXACTLY the way any real Marine would in putting a stop to RDA's unethical and downright illegal actions. "Slap in the face" to USMC? More like a portrayal of a former Marine as an immensely courageous and moral character.

  • @state135 "No one has given us a movie about Iraq quite like this"? That may be true, but Hurt Locker was not some super-accurate window into Iraq like so many have gone on about. Many military personnel who have seen Iraq firsthand can attest to its fictionalized nature. As far as Hurt Locker being a milestone in filmmaking, Avatar is far more significant (no, I'm NOT referring to the damn visual effects!) as a game changer. No one has given us such a powerful, meaningful film before.

  • @torukmakto4 the moment you side with a hostile alien race (yes i realize they were defending their homes) against humans and kill many of them you betray your species and he did so against former marines, and people always look for underlying themes in movies they cant just watch a movie and enjoy it,about it

  • @torukmakto4 I did not like avatar the first time I saw it but I watched it again and I thought it was a little better but I still dont like it and I was saying that it is the first good film about Iraq showing people what some soldiers really go through like eldridge and that they put their lives on the line every day. I was not saying it was super accurate but it is a good view. what other milestones did avatar achieve?

  • @state135 ...AND IT'S AS SIMPLE AS THAT! I've seen both, but only one truly moved me. Only one blew my mind. Only one changed how I think forever. Only one has driven me to come back and see it again 31 times so far (and I only want MORE!). It takes a true masterwork to do that! That one film was NOT The Hurt Locker. IT WAS AVATAR. Lots of fans agree with me. You don't find any Hurt Locker fans who wouldn't get sick of it after 31 times, do you?

  • @torukmakto4 wow i should have looked at your name your clearly a die hard avatar fan and will be forever I have seen Band of Brothers more than 31 times so I get where your coming from and it changed me but I just dont see how a story that never happened and that shows humans as only greedy and evil people who kill their planet and anyone that gets in their way of making a few bucks thats just weird

  • @state135 Avatar does not depict "humanity" at all. RDA is a corporate entity, and that is key to understanding it. "Humanity" in the Avatar universe would likely be APPALLED if they found out exactly what RDA was doing out there, 4.4 lightyears away from society and government. Remember also that 5 primary protagonists are/were human, and 2 of those (Jake, Trudy) are ex-USMC. This story being futuristic sci-fi ("It never happened...") doesn't degrade it or render it less relevant in any way.

  • @torukmakto4 They said that we killed our world and that people were only doing this for money and that the one thing people hate more than bad press is a bad quarterly review so that doesnt speak well for humanity but I don't see the point in arguing with you seeing that you are an absolute fan.

  • @state135 Selfridge: "...The only thing **shareholders** hate more than bad press is a bad quarterly statement." He's talking about RDA shareholders, of course.

Jake: "There's no green there. They killed their mother, and they're gonna do the same here." Well, that is an issue facing this planet now. It's social commentary, just like almost everything in this film. Commenting on the deficiencies of society is a constructive and necessary act. That's fundamental.

  • @torukmakto4 no matter what you say I will not look to deep into this movie I recognize it made advances in cinematography but I personally didn't like it and i guess that makes me the only person in America so ill never win an argument about this movie all I know is that colonel was a badass and my hero and I knew he was talking about the company's shareholders but that says something about humanity that they are willing to destroy a people to make money

  • @torukmakto4 And yes we are dealing with environmental issues but that does not mean that we will kill the planet

  • @torukmakto4 yeah the story .... blah blah blah ..... pocahontas, dances with wolves, the last samuri. etc.... done before and better (the story that is) , the only new kick to it was that it wasnt interracial this time, but its was inter species.... ewwww

  • @whothebitchnowsucka The plot is similar to those other works you mentioned only in the "going native" subplot, which is a classic archetype that has been in use since before recorded history (and has its roots in real occurrences throughout history, I must add). None of those works "did it better" than Avatar either. Care to explain that? Plus, if you're gonna hate on Avatar, at least come up with something original of your own thought to say rather that parroting YEAR OLD internet trash.

  • gay

  • Sean, you should post a review for Hurt Locker. I loved Avatar, but I think that Hurt Locker was an excellent movie. The sniper duel in it was, hands down, one of my favorite scenes ever in a movie. Well, who cares, the Oscars suck Na'vi balls, anyway. Way I see it, Oscars are like this.

"I did a good job acting in a movie"

"YOU WIN A LITTLE GOLD NAKED DUDE!"

  • Avatar has a mediocre story just deal with it hurt locker is 10 times the movie avatar is

  • @GoatseObama Thank you. Someone gets it.

  • @vre655u apparently, because the only message I can see is "preserve the environment" type thing. But they can't dumb down the visuals for everything. The good thing about plot-driven movies is that they are unique. If all movies, including avatar was dumb down, then movies would become bland and seem exactly the same. We need visual driven movies to make the plot driven better

  • thank god hurt locker won. avatar had great effects but it was a horrid and liberalized fucked up message. hurtlocker had a real message about real soldiers not some made up fantasy land were they put liberal messages about what they think combat is like. fucking gay.

  • does it matter what movie won? most of the time crappy movies win anyway, the oscars are a joke, just like the nobel peace prize

  • avatar lost because it made the usa look like war mongering scum.

hurt locker won because it made usa look like brave warrior and heros.

    simple

  • Im glad the hurt locker won.

Avatar is shit. the story is absolutely atrocious.

The people who liked it are the same people who thought Gran Torino was bad because it didn't have giant robots in it. Plus a big budget doesn't mean good movie.

  • AVATAR WAS PURE PWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im just angry that my brother, dad and cousin dont get the whole point of the movie and my mom slept through it im the only one who was actully into the movie in my damn family it should have won

  • Precious should have won D:

  • But Precious is better film than Hurt Locker!!!!!!

I'll already knew that either Precious or Hurt Locker win the Oscar!!!!!!!!

Because those 2 film is more inspirational than Avatar!!!!

    But I still love Avatar!!!!!

  • Hmm there were way better movies in 2009 like The Road, The Watchmen, and District 9.

Both The Hurt Locker and Avatar are way overrated, especially Avatar.

  • hurt locker no one ever heard of but beat avatar... har har.. what a bad political joke!

  • You make no sense. Since when is getting tons of money at the box office a sign a movie's good? You're retarded, and so is everyone else who watches this idiot uploader's videos.

  • What a rip off for avatar. Unbelievable

  • Hurt Locker wins... Politics, how tiresome.

The only reason James Cameron didn't flip out was because it was his ex that supposedly beat him. I wonder if Cameron paid people of in order to lose.

Probably out of love i guess. 2.5 billion dollars i'm sure he bribed for his own loss. Avatar still made history.

  • INFLATION XD.

  • district 9 rocks

  • Iast nite 2 of my friends wanted to see the hurt locker. they never seen it so I rented it for them. They said it was the biggest waste of time. they loved avatar way better.

Hurt locker should have never won best picture.

  • The Storyline of AVATAR is pritty much "POCHOHANTUS IN SPACE" well done hurt locker wooooo

  • @yunyun201 how is it pochahauntus in space?

  • Uh NO, Saying AVATAR is like Pocohantas is like saying Mexico is like Mexico City!! Pocahontas was about "Love should have nothing to do with where you are from!" AVATAR was about soo so so so so so so so so much more!! that was only one part of the story line dude, the story is filled with Satire and symolisim, and Biological Evidence!! For Instance, how they would connect with their nerve things, DUH just like how we are connected with all of the plants and Animals.

  • How the trees were connected sending electrical impulses is just like our nervous system!! Pandora was a symbol

AVATAR, did have some of Pocahontus in it, but it also had so much more!! Besides was Pocahontases story bad?? Just because someone has done a simalar movie before doesnt mean that it is bad or "cliche". Was the story original NO

  • It wasent origonal because it wasent there for entertainment, (it was entertaining though, that is why they added the visuals and the Action Sequences) it was their to spread an OLD message that society has forgotton!! So their is no way for it to be origal in that sence, but it was sitll an amazing intellegent movie despite that!! Not every story has to be new...

REGARDLESS!! The Awards are suppose to be for the Performance not the Politics (in the words of MoNique)

  • 1: if the best thing about a movie is its visual effects, then it's automatically NOT a mind-blowing movie.

2: but lets say a good movie (in a hypothetical world) was all about visuals. AVATAR still wouldnt be mind-blowing becuz there's already a mind-blowing world. EARTH

3: if the sole reason for this movie was to send a message, then James could've just gotten a camcorder and posted a video on YouTUBE saying, "Hey! we gotta problem, earth looks like sh*t."

  • Yeah, I don't think "Avatar" is "quite there yet"..in a couple of years we'll have better computer animated movies. I think "Hurt Locker" deserved everything it got of Oscars

  • @winterstellar shut up hater

  • 100bumblebee Hehe, what? What was hateful about saying that I think we'll have better computer-animated movies in a few years or that Hurt Locker deserved the Oscars? Hehe, anyway I didn't intend to sound hateful at all and Avatar is also a good movie.: )

  • I never even heard of fucking Hurt Locker. If you want to know what I think, I say Transformers ROTF should win best picture of all time!

  • The hurt Locker is most OVERRATED movie of the year. AVATAR OR INGL.BASTERDS should have won!!

  • @Nomak020186 you got it

  • 10 min. into Avatar, I thought WOW, I'm coming back to see this. I watched Hurt Locker, I couldn't finish it because it was so far from the reality. Whereas Avatar although fictional at face value really had a relevant message that struck deep for all people. While Hurt Locker portrayed an inaccurate side of war & of soldiers. Ask anyone in the Military & they will most likely tell you they would have laughed at Hurt Locker if they weren't so disgusted.

  • it was political, man, Kathryn Bigelow is the 1st woman to win best director and James Cameron's ex wife!! Ironic?!

  • boooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hurt locker is gay and retarded wow how could a movie about bomb defusion win ? i mean really district 9 and avatar shouda won WTF?

  • The judges play MW2 Search and Destroy

  • @xxkevxx105 no, just district 9. avatar wasn't original just 3d showcasing.

  • This is what happens when you don't show us the sex scene, James.

  • Well, James Cameron is perfect at making stories that take it to a new level, such as Terminator, Aliens, Terminator 2, Titanic and Avatar. But his screenplay wrtiting efforts aren't as creative and have dept to it, as compared to Quentin Tarantino.

  • Good god, I watched it.

  • Avatar was sooo much better than hurt lock. hurt loker is just like any other middle east war, people get kill, they get emotional, and natives try to kill them. no effort. plays with your emotion. Avatar took real effort and deserved the Best Picture award.

  • I feel like Snake with a ! over my head

  • hurt locker was better

  • im furious too!!!

  • avatar = excellent graphics but the story wasn't that great. hurt locker = overall excellent movie

  • I think i only liked avatar for it's visual effects, i did not like the story really. but still have nothing againist james cameron ( the best movie director ever) or sam worthington.

i find it hilarious that james cameron's ex directed the hurt locker. lol

  • @AutovoltGTS

yea i found that funny too lol

  • thats a nice iron man back there

  • This is so GAY!!!!!!!!!! avatar should've won best picture

  • @pcjordan23 U MAD

  • @pcjordan23 False. Best picture should be given to...well, the best film, which Avatar certainly wasn't.

  • I was kind of pissed. But yet I wanna see Hurt Locker. It looks very good. At least Avatar got "Visual Effects" award. Well that was predictable lol

  • I was SO PISSED that Avatar didn't win! I stayed up to see it win but it was the god d**ned hurt locker! No biggie, Avatar outgrossed it and won more awards. SHOVE IT HURT LOCKER

  • Well dude thats cause Hurt Locker was a indepent fim so it wasn't released worldwide and it didn't have the big budget like Avatar and it just proves that even if you do have the bigger budget doesn't mean ur film is better than all the rest. And ur wrong Hurt Locker won 6 awards and Avatar won 3

  • @JoelRandolph100

Hmmm you got a point. It's (mostly) always the independent films that sort of receive all the glory. I still wanna see Hurt Locker. Sucks it got sued but yea i still wanna see it.

  • here here!

  • @digioverlord THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR AGREEING WITH ME! p.s Kathryn Bigalow is James Cameron's ex so that's why he as pissed as us when she won HIS award

  • the oscars have a rule, and im not kidding, that high computer generated movies are not allowed to win best picture so thats why transformers 1 was denied entry

  • @starscream624

woah i never knew that. That kind of has a point but wow thanks for mentioning that lol. Mostly explains everything of why Avatar didn't win much oscars like the Hurt Locker.

  • I'm happy that Avatar didn't win. Sure, the special effects looked nice, but the story was just another Pocahontas rip-off, and not a good one.

  • the hurt locker was actually a good movie, no disrespect to Avatar or anything like that, Avatar was also an excellent movie =)

  • avatar should have won definitely. they don't like cameron and scifi movies

  • LOL! nice sean. nice.

  • Thank god avatar didn't win. I am actually Happy Hurt locker won, I liked that movie.

  • i am pissed i want to see hurt locker so badly but avatar should have won

  • The Hurt Locker? ..Never heard of it.

  • Great Movie bro!!!

  • thank god avatar didnt win best picture

  • What is "The Hurt Locker" ?

ESPAÑOL: UNA VERGUENZA LOS OSCAR, VER-GÜEN-ZA, LA PELÍCULA MÁS EXITOSA DE TODOS LOS TIEMPOS Y NO LES DAN EL PREMIO AL MEJOR DIRECTOR NI A LA MEJOR PELICULA.

YA LOS OSCAR PERDIERON MUCHISIMA CREDIBILIDAD, 100% NACIONALIST YANKEE FUCKERZ, KEEP ATACKING IRAK AND ANOTHER COUNTRIES FOR OIL, SO THEY CAN WIN ANOTHERS OSCAR SHOWING WARS WHO USA WINS, SHAME ON YOU UNITEDS STATES

  • Well thats it now, the marines from hurt locker hav invaded the Na'vi's land!

  • I love that anti-american egoistical environmentalist got thumped by his ex, now she is the "Queen of the World".

"Hurt Locker" was better written, and acted, with a story line that didn't bounce around like a kids Astro jump. For all you video game nut bags, this was Best Film, not best techi display. Go by to your PS2 and play GTA.

  • well avatar started this new technology but that doesnt mean it will be king of it

if they wanted avatar to win then they should have released it at the end of the year

  • i cant believe hurt locker won, stupid bullshit, fucking fixed, how ironic for his x wife to win two of the most important ones, and just because it has something to do with the war thats why they won

  • yay! more avatar!!!

  • FAIL!!!!

  • district 9 should of won best picture

  • yea ! insted of the hurt locker for sure.

  • Avatar was WAY too overhyped, had a crappy storyline that was ripped from tons of other movies, and it was basic filming techniques to create Pandora. Nothing special. The Academy was right for once.

  • @xXBatmanFreakXx keep in mind, the script for avatar was written in 1956 or something like that

  • @xXBatmanFreakXx Nothing special? Cameron created state-of-the-art camera equipment never before used by any director in any movie. And besides no other director has made a entirely CGI world. Bigelow may have had the better film, but Cameron sure as hell deserved BD for his achievement in changing the face of movies.

  • @mavman1994, I thought "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow" also took place in an entirely CGI world. I haven't seen Avatar yet because the storyline does seem really cheezy.

  • Avatar had already made over a billion dollars, we didn't need James Cameron winning any non-technical awards to feed his ever increasing ego.

  • Avatar was robbed, ROBBED I TELL U!!! The Hurt Locker came out of nowhere and stole the two most important awards from James Cameron. Academy, you made another huge mistake, your gonna regret this!

  • Haha Titanic references.

  • bc it fucking gay ass moive ever i wold watch baby show before this pic of carp pokemon is way moere bater then this and yes i wsih the moive

  • Yeah, Shrek didn't win Best Movie either. Nor do most family (kid friendly) oriented movies. The drama was superficial and the wonderful visuals were stolen.

  • SEANxLONG - No, come on really, you didn't actually think Avatar could have won Best Picture. The Academy Awards always has bias against most genres, Sci-Fi being one of them.

Sure, sure, if there was a loud enough outcry by the fanbase (Lord of the Rings, Spirited Away for example) then the Academy could have been bullied into giving Avatar the award... but really, I don't remember that loud an outcry from Avatar fans so no influence. Congratulations to both movies for the oscars they won.

  • good thing avatar didnt win it...finally....they had the balls.

  • Wow you douchebag. You just fucking spoiled this shit for me. Go fuck yourself. I'm serious. I live in Hong Kong and our airing isn't for another 3 hours you fucker.

  • Suck it, Cameron! Your ex-wife made a better movie and deserved to win Best Director!

  • the farthest i got on the "if they won" vid was when jake said "axe body spray"

lol sorry but some things u do are TOO disturbing...

    no offense :)

  • Avatar should have won. It was an amazing movie.

  • Well, Avatar will be the best movie ever made to hit nearly $2 billion worldwide at the box office. Though it won 3 Oscars, credit is given to the winner The Hurt Locker for winning 6 Oscars including Best Director for Kathryn Bigelow ( the first woman in Academy history to win the Oscar for Best Director) & Best Picture. For Avatar & James Cameron, you did good & thanks.

  • Yes. This is only my opionion. I thought the visuals wre bithcin but the story and how its really just gone with the wind didn't impress me at all. I give it a 4/10. (the fact that Jake didn't give half a shit about betraying his race didn't make sense either.)

  • wow....so if you were jake you would much rather kill an innocent alien race just so you could get money. wow fuck off dude. If I was jake I would fucking betray my race to.

  • seriously... I never thought of Avatar to be that great, I posted it before, it was way too predictible to me, and the animation meh...I've seen better in Japanime.

Sorry if you guys don't like my comment, but is my personal opinion, Pocahontas blue kitty edition wasn't a great movie , and is not that I don't enjoy CGI 3D because I love Alice in wonderland =)

  • thank go that piece of shit Pocahontas, i mean avatar didn't fucking win

  • Who cares?

If you liked the movie then what difference does it make that it didn't win a damn statue?

Hurt Locker won and Avatar is still the highest grossing film of all time. Everyone wins!

Well, everyone except the District 9 fans :(

  • "what could we have done differently Jake?"

perhaps they could have started by not making such a fucking terrible movie.

  • LMFAO!!!!!!

  • Where were you at the beginning of avatar? You could have saved me from watching one the worst movies I have ever seen.

  • lol after reading all of yours comments i cannot understand one thing off course there is people who likes/dislikes avatar but why the hell did u go to watch it..coz in the trailers u can realize that avatar is a story like dance with wolves but it did not matter to me i wanted to watch it anyway and i was stuned by it so didnt u watch the trailers or what? if u dont like this kind of movies why the fuck did u do it and now u r here critizing as a moron

    no more comments

    AVATAR deserved to win

  • @chimbaman19

I watched it because I thought I was gonna like it , I'm into the CGI things, I love movies like that , so far my favorites are Alice and Advent Children...but Avatar let me down =(

  • @chimbaman19 We're Morons? At least we can spell

  • ohh well stil Avatar Becomes Most Successful Film Ever Made.

    AVATAR FTW

  • either way i think avatar was awesome i didnt see hurt locker but apparently it was better than avatar and pocahontas? really? lol idk about that but ok

  • Well, at least they didnt' get Razzies that made no sense like ROTF did! -____-

  • THE HURT LOCKER was a f-in CHEATER

  • im so happy Hurt Locker won, all that avatar had was special effects. 10 years developing it and not even an original story, big disappointment

and you people "thumbing down" people supporting Hurt Locker, have you even seen it? i doubt it, because you'd be agreeing with us

  • I saw the hurt locker. good movie but it does not diserv best picture or director.

The blind side was a better movie.

    AVATAR crushes the hurt locker.

  • how? Better Story and Acting, thats all that counts if you think about it. Im not saying Avatar was a bad film, im saying it was a disappointment.

I loved james camerons older films (terminator, aliens) but he didnt deserve best Director, i think Quentin Tarantino deserved that, but we cant always get what we want

  • come on man hurt locker wasnt that good.

  • yes, it was. It had Tension, fantastic acting, a great ORIGINAL story, a realistic representation of how Soldiers feel about war, and the dangers it has.

Maybe its because i was Excited for Avatar that i was disappointed, but when a Sci Fi Action Film has More in Common with Titanic than Aliens, i can see why i was disappointed

  • @ironwez20 ya ok

  • o yea thats what we need another war movie.

  • I Am Glad The Hurt Locker Won!

  • Hurt locker was good but not even close to AVATAR ! such BS.

For me is the best movie ever made.

  • and guess whats tomorrow international womans day conspiracy i think not

  • wow... you're quick hahaha

  • Please don't give me hate mail this is my opinion and mine alone. Avatar for me deserved all the technical stuff like best cinematography and visual effects but I mean it just didn't seem like best picture material for me. I mean I liked Titanic better(because I thought the character development was better in Titanic) and the plot was very similar to the last samurai but I also like the last samurai better(which I think is a underrated movie).

The Dark Knight > Avatar for me as well

  • Dark Knight beat the shit out of Avatar on all fronts. Still it shows you how far a crappy 3D movie with great visuals can go. Kinda sad.

  • thank you!

  • Well I wouldn't call it crappy but definately overrated. Here's my review on it. In 3D 8/10 in 2D probably only a 6/10 maybe a 5.5/10(if I don't round up). Definately not best picture worthy but still a pretty good movie. Thanks for your support. And yes the Dark Knight is a 9.5/10(for me because there's no such thing as a perfect movie but the dark knight is one of my favorites and it's the best superhero movie of all time for me and many other fans).

  • i cannot believe that a movie of soldiers which just sayin the name i get bored....won

    come on!!!

    Avatar is unique

    Damn u oscars!!!!

  • Avatar is not unique. Its a sci-fi version of pocahontas. I bullshit you not, and gunships have bullet proof windshields there is no way in hell that a spear would pierce them.

  • yes!! and i love how all the 12 year olds are out there thumbing us Hurt Locker supporters down. i love them so much, BRING IT BITCHES

  • Avatar sucks

  • I know I'm probably going to be ridiculed with thumbs down and negative reactions to this. BUT hear me out. I haven't seen the hurt locker so I can't judge it. But I liked District 9 better than Avatar sorry and I also didn't think Avatar was best picture material and I wasn't really as excited for the Oscars this year as I was for last year(seeing Heath win and Slumdog millionaire win was great I still think that the dark knight should've been nominated last year).

    So there.

  • Avatar was a technical marvel and a failure at everything else. The entire movie I was wishing that the main character would just die so the movie would end. Afterwards I realized that the movie I had just seen was a sci fi version of pocahontas.

  • nooooooo!!!!!! it pissed me off to that movie was da greatest!!!

  • The Hurt Locker was a much better movie.

  • I'm glad Avatar lost. But pissed that Hurt Locker won.

  • pocahontas in space lost

  • Thats what I have been telling people since I saw that fucking retarded movie. Avatar is nothing but a sci fi version of Walt Disney's Pocahontas. (Minus the musical numbers)

  • Its complete bull. Hurt Locker is overrated. I'm sorry but it is. I can go on and on why it is.

  • Plz do. Why is hurt locker overrated?

  • I think that if any film should've beaten Titanic it should've at least been better. And Avatar wasn't better(the character development wasn't as good). I think that any film in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy or The Dark Knight should've beaten Titanic and not Avatar.

Anyway now that I saw the show I'm definately going to check out the hurt locker. Because I really like war movies(ex platoon, the last samurai, Letters from Iwo Jima)I know it's probably going to be good for winning best picture

  • Yea I agree the Dark Knight is better than Titanic and Avatar combined

  • Yep anyway thanks for posting up these Awesome videos!!!!!!
