@d4rkmorgoth  I've been playing the violin for 3 and a half yr now.. I was kind of learning by myself until last year, when I stayed for the whole year in Ireland learning traditional fiddle. =]

Please, try to find your ear! Pay much more attention to the intonations, and try to practice the notes slowly first. If you practice it with legato and then with staccato it will help. And check the notes again, it is not what it is player in the song.

I'm there again, fiddle-playing slightly less so - I hopet ! What I suggest is that you concentrate on the rythm that you want - not speed. It is, of course, all in the bowing. Use the Elbow not the shoulder - I'm no "classic" myself. All the best !
