You are right, Pierce should have won this. The power was evenly matched between the two but pierce was moving better, had she not got so nervous at 5-4 final set she would have beaten Davenport on this occasion.

sorry it's a bit difficult to see ball at times! But they both hit the ball so damn hard. They both kind of cancel each other out as they have such similar games I think
