  • No man can satisfy 12 women no matter how much he wishes. Dude should have stuck to a max of 3 wives.

  • How are you guys, please be informed that the reed dance is not meant for the king to choose a new wife. This occasion is meant to celebrate the virginity of females in Swaziland and to pay tribute to the Queen mother. However like any other man that attends the reed dance, the king may fall in love with a special someone. Lastly the former justice minister will not be put to death, he has resigned and this is normal in any country where a public officer behaves inappropriate. Thank you

  • @mafindo This video has been misleading to the public, not everything reported in the internet is entirely true.

  • @mafindo: The good people of Swaziland should rise and push this wicked King and his babric culture out of existence. This these modern times, we are still talking about a man taking 13 wives while his subjects live in penury. This is the very reason why the west thinks that Africa as a continent is a joke. He needs to be pushed out of power.

  • @sethken Thanks for your submission but i must add that the majority of Swazis love their culture and King. In fact there are progressives who also love the king and culture despite their desire for a different political system. It's interesting that most of the foreigners i have met who have visited Swaziland have spoken positively about the culture as well as the monarch. I encourage you to visit there instead of relying on exaggerated internet info. Thank you.

  • @sethken Foreigners i have met have said positive things about the monarch and culture after visiting there. Again not all people in Swaziland are poor, there is a rich and middle class and those who are "able". Yes there is HIV&AIDS but programs have been created to educate people with the supply of free condoms and medication. But most people do not listen and continue unprotected sex with more than one partner.

  • @mafindo: you sound moronic. The fat King falls in love with an impoverished virgin. And takes the virgin to be his bride. The virgin I am sure does not have a voice, why, because she lives in an impoverished land with no opportunities. I am sure marrying the king is a sure route out of poverty. No wonder why he keeps his subjects poor. With poverty comes lack of self determination. I call on the people of Swaziland to reject this backward and outdated culture. It is vile and offensive.

  • @sethken This is exactly the kind of arrogance that has tarnished the image of Swaziland and the King. First of all his wives did not come from poverty, they came from well-off families and it was at their own choice to accept the king's marriage or not. Secondly Swaziland has a section of rich and middle class families, so not everyone is poor but i don't blame you because you read false info from the internet. Not saying everything is wrong. I encourage you to visit Swaziland. Thank you

  • Ergh, this "king" makes me sick.... Although adultery is wrong, look at what drove her to that point. He gets a new wife each birthday? WTF?

  • @Pesceangurl Hi, as a female i assume i see where you stand but one thing that must be made clear is that the King is a very humble man. He cares for the people and has shown that through establishing programs for the needy. Most of what you have read in the internet about him is exaggerated. Secondly it's not true that he chooses a wife every year on his b-day because if it were he would have more than the current 13 wives. Lastly majority of the people in swaziland love the king and culture.

  • @mafindo Is it true that she's being put to death? So the former justice minister resigned, but what about the girl? Is she still doom to die or was that made up too?

  • @Pesceangurl Thank you, that is not true at all and what you read in those subtitles is totally wrong. The minister resigned at his own discretion and nothing will happen to him. Besides there is no death penalty in Swaziland. The minister will walk free like everyone else in Swaziland and continue with his comfortable/rich lifestyle. As for the wife, she will want to either stay or leave the king at her choice or maybe the king will want to stick with or divorce her at his own choice too.

  • @Pesceangurl and if it's a no on both parties about continuing the relationship then everyone walks free like in normal relationships. This has already happened twice before. The previous wives decided to leave at their own choice but the king still takes care of the children like any father would. Thank you.

  • @mafindo I just hope what you're saying is true.

  • @Pesceangurl Sista it is mos def true and now i encourage you to visit Swaziland at the end of this month where you will enjoy watching the reed dance and keep in mind this occasion is not for the king to choose a wife but a day when virgin girls celebrate their virginity and pay homage to the queen mother. It's a huge yearly event which has attracted thousands of foreign tourists over the years.

  • @mafindo Proof, I need proof that she's not facing the death penalty. Do you have any links you can message me? I need trust worthy news articles too.

  • @Pesceangurl I know what happens in Swaziland and that is the best proof i can give you but ask any Swazi person, they will tell you the same. Unless they lie and normally those are Swazis with motives/political agendas such as PUDEMO,Swayoco and so on. Or call our nearest Swazi embassies, they will clear things up for you. We do not live in a premitive world in Swaziland where someone is put to death for silly things or marital affairs..lol We are modern in many aspects and conservative too.

  • @mafindo boy dont mind them they have no culture they think we all live in huts every where you go you will find the rich and the poor good women and whores so just ignore them
