I was scared when I was 5 and watched the candles burning on the birthday cake grandma had made. When I blew them out all the lights suddenly went out. That was August 6, 1945. God is referred to as Yahweh or Jehovah about 9,000 times in the Bible. Never is He thus referred to in the Qur'an. He reveals himself in the Scriptures as "The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob/Israel." He is the Father of the Jews, "the God of Israel."

WHEN THE NEW TESTAMENT LISTS SINS, SABBATH BREAKING IS CONSPICUOUSLY ABSENT: In Mark 7:21-22 13 sins are listed. Jesus did not mention breaking the Sabbath. In Romans 1:29-32 20 sins are listed and not one of them is Sabbath breaking. In Galatians 5:19-21 a list of 15 sins are given, In 2 Timothy 3:1-4 there's a list of 18 sins, but not once is Sabbath breaking mentioned!

Jesus did not go to the church on Sundays and neither did the disciples. Read Acts. Catholic church considers the other churches as "prodigal daughters". Sunday is a Catholic institution, read catholic catechism.
The day of the week believers choose to gather is really not important. If you have read Romans, you know that we are not subject to the old Jewish law. Don't be a Pharisee.
Better read your bible is you think the day you choose is not really important. Where was the Jew when that law was made? Why is it that the only commandment people want to get rid of is the fourth, the only one that begins with REMEMBER? So maybe you best follow your own advice and don't be a Pharisee, thinking you know so much and yet in reality know so little.
Keeping the Sabbath is explicitly in the ten commandments. What's really important is to keep a relationship with God through prayer, meditation and bible study. Times seem to point to His imminent return. You relationship with God will be the thing that guides your decisions. I may listen to a preacher, but overall before i change my life, i pray & study for myself rather than base my decisions on the thoughts of others. Verses are great, but it's best to go & read the whole chapter in context.

I think the bible prophecies are self fulfilling, the bad things it predicts are only coming true because people expect them to. I was scared when I was 5 and watched the candles burning on the birthday cake grandma had made. When I blew them out all the lights suddenly went out. That was August 6, 1945. I was scared because when I was just over 2 years old I had been burned very badly when playing in the ashes of some leaves that were still smoldering in the yard. I died. Many of these have Akkadian or Babylonian origins (remember the Israelites were kept as slaves by the Babylonians for a long time- their captivity there may have influenced many of the stories of the OT and comparisons have been made to Babylonain mythology).

The easiest way that I can demonstrate that Catholicism most likely created in part or whole, the religion of Islam is to refer you to each others rituals; praying to Allah five times a day is altogether an act of obedience, and the prayers are always repetitive. Most prayers prayed by Catholics are also rote and repetitive, saying the rosary being the best example. Repeating 16 "Our Father's" and 153 "Hail Mary's" is far from personal communication.

It was to be kept from sunset to sunset (Lev. 23:32)
-No burden was to be carried (Jer. 17:21)
-No fire kindled (Ex. 35:3)
-No Cooking done (Ex. 16:23)
-The penalty for doing any of these things during the Sabbath was DEATH (Numbers 15).

WHEN THE NEW TESTAMENT LISTS SINS, SABBATH BREAKING IS CONSPICUOUSLY ABSENT: In Mark 7:21-22 13 sins are listed. Jesus did not mention breaking the Sabbath. In Romans 1:29-32 20 sins are listed and not one of them is Sabbath breaking. In Galatians 5:19-21 a list of 15 sins are given, In 2 Timothy 3:1-4 there's a list of 18 sins, but not once is Sabbath breaking mentioned!

Revelation 22:14 says:
"Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city."
And the commandments are found in Ex. 20... the fourth of which is "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy" in verse 8... so maybe the adventists hav a point about keepin Sabbath....

Jesus came to this world to save us from our sins and as He lived His life is a perfect example which all Christians try to follow. I am sure that not every SDA member starts keeping the Sabbath when the sun sets, but irrigardless I think salvation is an individual thing. Everybody has to know where they stand with God and I don't think it's our place to judge them based on religion and one day. They do go to church on other days as well, but to them Saturday is a speciak day....

It is well established that early (1st century) Christians gathered on Sundays. Paul says everything is permissible but not everything is convenient..getting caught up in a non-issue is a sure indicator of intentionally orchestrated deception. It is better to investigate and study scripture than trust the wild theories and interpretations of men.

Jesus did not go to the church on Sundays and neither did the disciples. Read Acts. Catholic church considers the other churches as "prodigal daughters". Sunday is a Catholic institution, read catholic catechism.

Keeping the Sabbath is explicitly in the ten commandments. What's really important is to keep a relationship with God through prayer, meditation and bible study. Times seem to point to His imminent return. You relationship with God will be the thing that guides your decisions. I may listen to a preacher, but overall before i change my life, i pray & study for myself rather than base my decisions on the thoughts of others. Verses are great, but it's best to go & read the whole chapter in context.

It's true Sunday is the mark of the Beast. They worship and honor as the their lord's day or sabbath. The scripture does'nt say to keep the First day/sunday Sabbath.....in the OT you can learn some lessons....God punished those who poluted GOD's Sabbath. The GOd of the OT people is the same GOD of the NT. God's commandments never change.

I think the bible prophecies are self fulfilling, the bad things it predicts are only coming true because people expect them to. In quantum physics experiments the expectations of the observer dictates the outcomes of events: "The very act of observing is enough to collapse the wave function of an electron". Burn every copy of the bible then none of the evil prophecies can come true. Jesus used religion to gain control of the masses. His family are still in power today. They planned all of this.
