@gadgetwhore2 I think that there's some kind of resonance inside the toothbrush. If you look at the top part that comes off, there are three metal tines that press into the base of the toothbrush. you can also hear a very high pitched noise when you turn it on with out the brush attached.

I had an itchy back and so without thinking I grabbed the SONICARE unit and scratched my back itch. So it was in ESSENSE a back-scratcher also.

Plus I got food stains off my shirt after a meal with this Electronic Dental Device.

I'm certain there are many harmless other things it can do besides work on your teeth.

ALSO My teeth went from the color of dark brown, deep-dark thick brown colored to a bright white color in 3.3 weeks. I am slightly blinded by my teeth in the mirror now.

i have elecetric BRAUN toothbrush and comes with charger, i paid 60 $ on it but bilieve me u feel that u went out from the dentsit the toothbrush make the same sound like u just went out from the dentist lol i love , then i use listrine washing my mouth and straight to the work :D

Sonicare's brush head don't move back-and-forth, rather, it vibrates side-to-side.

@shasha1873 I did find out that the brush works on vibrating magnets. Its pretty cool how it works... My wife was the one that said " that woman is talking about it, not how it works"
