@stylst0123 Mod Podge works for many things. It works as a simple glue. It also works to coat projects as a final finish. You can also add it to acrylic paints to thin them a bit. Matte Medium by Golden is another great product that does all of these things as well.
I've never tried it but I think if the glue dries clear it would probably work. The key is that the glue dry clear so that there isn't a white film between the image and the glass.

I saw some clear school glue at the store the other day and I was wondering instead of Modgepodge could you use the clear glue?

can you use regular glue, like tacky or white glue?
