They also play different positions. Polamalu is more well rounded, he's a hawk when he's in pass coverage and he's probably the best run stuffing safety in the league. Reed (who I'm a fan of) is essentially useless in run defense. He gets the INTs because he's always sitting back in coverage. Polamalu is a better overall player. (I'm a Saints fan btw)
