Wow! I remember this track. It's one of the best video game songs of all time. Even without the nostalgia factor this song is still great because I was putting this on replay when the game was still new.
I'm shocked no one has posted up a guitar cover of this song yet. Acoustic would go well or electric if you want to experiment. Either one would make me happy and pay great homage to this song.
Best videogame soundtrack EVER. Made the entire game, really. If not for the original control and item system UNHEARD of in FInal Fantasy. Seriously we need another like the first.
@MissBlurr the space is big till the crab uses thunderga and it cast it in the midle and i could nvr get away before it hits. idk if it happens to everyone but the stupid crap always used it where i couldnt get away in time even with my selkie lol
im geting the game again.should actualy get here tomarrow i hope!!! cant wait to beat the crap up!!
Oh god, the memories. My friend showed us this game, thinking we wouldn't like it. He was going too quickly through the menus and ended up naming the town PPPPPPP. We called it the town of Pee, near Port Pee. We went on a journey carrying the "pot" to collect the "potty water" for the town of Pee. But we had to stay inside the border of the later-designated "toilet bowl". We had so much fun the first time around, they didn't want to play it again afterwords.
@BunnyTheSwordsman The first time I played this, it was with my older bro and best friend. I was the cowlick Clavat merchant with incredible defense who carried ALL the money, my bro was the Yuke Alchemist who got first dibs on orbs(especially cure and life) and carried the pot(chalice), and my friend was the all-around Selkie Blacksmith who carried materials and plans. It worked out great, with minimal arguing, and maximal fun. The Meteor Parasite was an interesting battle, that's for sure.
@Gerranor When it did its huge screen-spanning laser, my bro went intangible, my friend backflipped over it, and I just waled off the screen. It took us so long to beat that boss, we almost fainted when we learned there was another boss, and then another.
Stopped being so hard when you realize the enemies do not level up since you only visit the area once. You can completely blitz through the area with the proper stats. The Zombie dragon and lich ended up harder because they level up.
@BunnyTheSwordsman Lol, I always carried it. I enjoy being able to make the decisions as to where we went. And the way the combat works, that one second they get to the mob before you, they are usually dodging the first attack anyhow. Gives you time to drop chalice, and get right in there ^^
When i get my new TV at first i'll plug in my old Gamecube and start playing this and other jewels like Zelda WW / TP, Fire Emblem, Mario Sunshine, Metroid Prime and so on..
i love this game so much Q.Q i played so many years with my sisters...(maybe the best time in my life xD) the sequels weren't bad,but not like it's true core...a new crystal chronicles for the WiiU can contain so many possibilities!!!! >///<
the new controllers woulda be perfect for this game -°v°-
I still love this song, it says that there's hope, and the journey isn't all bad; Remember both the good and the bad, for that is what makes you who you are.
This song puts me in a slightly introspective mood, with it's beauty.
I've probably played this level close to 100 times with my first character alone, last time I checked I was on like year 27, and getting kinda lame journal entries, course with 147 or so memories on one person, and numerous artifacts, it's not hard for that to happen.
Why did you all want an online mode for this amazing game?
For me this music remember me the huge amount of days and nights we used to spent on this game with my friends, playing to something with some friends through the Internet is not the same as playing with them at one's place.
How could anyone dislike this? sure, that person does not know what REAL music is, like this master piece of epicness, just amazing, just great, is speechless
There's a damn good reason they chose this song for the first level - because it's arguably the most beautiful track in the game, or possibly from any game. I will always remember this song and think of the River Belle Path when I think of FFCC - they're just tied together in my mind as the dawn of the beautiful adventure that game is to me.
OMG, I just listened to this song last night with my friend, I made him wait like 10 min just so I could get back to this level and show this music to him, and once he did, we both agreed it is the most soothing music ever. We thought that you could be in the most creepy woods ever and just from hearing this tune you'd be able to sit down against a tree and get peacefully lulled to sleep. This song is amazing, it is what made me fall in love with the game in the first place.
You know what would rule? A remake of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, with simpler co-op play and make it so you aren't required to have three or four allies to beat Rebena Te Ra.
@SageSquidward UGH MY GOD!!! 3DS remake of this without need of GBA multiplayer ONLINE!!!! With new quest mode and a fleshed out story to boot! with update new maps and customizable gear and looks. No more 4 headband clavats on a team...and don't lie to me and tell me you didn't choose headband clavat!!!
@dss103 Why would I lie about that? Of course (when I did play my Clavat file) I played as the only Clavat with enough foresight to bring any decent armor at all. "Gee, with all those bloodthirsty monsters and that memory-eating demon wandering the world nowadays, I bet it's cool if we just go out in our street clothes!" As for the rest of your comment, well said.
if you had four GBAs, four gamecube-GBA connectors, three friends and a gamecube, this was the greatest game ever.

@ChronoPaladin91 imo a guitar, or any lone instrument for that matter, could do this song justice.
