I am former Mormon. I have read the BoM all the way through 7 times and referenced it for lessons and talks HUNDREDS of times.

When I read it I found it a little strange that Alma (via the "Chief Judge") found it necessary to write notes to Korihor (Alma

I thought MORmONS believed that all Native Americans were White in those days, but that apparently doesn't apply in this Movie However I have to say MORmONS believe a lot of crazy things that aren't really true.

Uh I know enough about this history of the MORmON church and the fact that Joesph Smith found some gold plate and some magic stones out in the woods (That no one ever saw) and read them out of a hat (Again that no one ever saw) and when the original prints for the book were hidden and Smith was told they were lost Smith got angry and then saying God was angered with him made another print that was different from the first of course proving that the book of MORmON was a fraud. So tell Me another.

u dont hav ur facts straight. No where in the book of mormon does it say anything about reading out of a hat. and people did see the golden plates. in the begining of the book of mormon there is a page that states that 11 people saw the plates. and if u think its raciest, then i'm being raciest agentst myself because i'm 1/2 bcherokee, and 1/8 souix. i dont care what you belive, seriously. All i want to point out is that you dont have all the facts right. u can still call me a moron i wont care

I have all my facts straight about this sudo - religious cult and yes if you are a MORmON and a Native American then you are racist against yourself totally. Natives and Whites are not the Original Jews, the Jews in Israel are the Original Jews, and not 11 other people didn't see the plates, if you look at it that was a rumor and for the fucking record I really REALLY don't care what you believe either you just need to do a little research on MORmONISM and you'll see.

I'm sorry if this offends you, but I just have to high of an IQ pointage to believe this crap could ever be really. Especially the part that says Adam And Eve were from America, when We have the fossil record on the scientific side and on the Biblical side it makes it very clear that the Gardan of Eden was in the Middle East. Besides with DNA and Geographical records working against MORmONism there's not very much to hold on too.

As a Mormon who's seen it more than once in a full theater, I assure you it's neither corny nor stupid. You take out what you take in. Kids especially love it. It's fun action/adventure and it's clean Mormon best.
