Along time ago when I first worked(60yrs) a lot of trucks were electric. Granted, they were powered by coal plants in Colorado. Local, most of the trucks, do very well on electrics. The first job was emptying an ice box of drip water from ice that was harvested from alpine lakes. Any idiot can see that just a solar roof can cut the line line to the oil well.
