If I want to get a good look at a firearm for serious purchase consideration I will look and see if Hickok has a video of it. FPS Russia is more of a fantasy arms video channel. Some of the weapons he brings to the field run well over twenty thousand dollars or are military only weapons like the AA12. Each have their own place and style and I appreciate them both.

That is a cannon ! the 350 grain jhp .500 SW has 3031 ft. lbs of muzzle energy... A 30-06 Springfield rifle 220 grain has 100 ft. lbs LESS, at the muzzle ! That recoil is severely limiting most persons shooting effectiveness, not to mention 2.50 per round ! I shoot a 44 mag that is plenty in a handgun.How much bigger can they go before they start to break or dislocate wrists ? I think they are at the limit. Good Shooting !

I bought a .44 mag after looking at the .454, .500, .460 and .480. my reason for getting the .44 was the availability, relatively manageable recoil and the .44 is still a fairly powerful load. the .44 is still expensive if you don't reload, but you can find .44 ammo at almost any store that carries guns and ammo.
