I respect Tom for what he's doing, but I think he's lost the soul of what Smallville has meant to many of the original fans. In this episode; in this episode, I had no idea it was him, but whoever's been producing, writing and directing since Season 8 has some explaining to do! Season 9 has been hard on me :( Clark's changed a lot and he's not as 'troubled' as he should be so I don't feel as onside with him as I used to. I've come to like Oliver Queen more and more though.

I think you have to let go on Smallville school, and accept he's a grown up reporter now. Think about where he's bin through. Wouldn't you changed? I would lost a little bit of faith too..right?

I think the writers did a great job on the last seasons.

That people like Lois and Lex etc. have been able to get so close to his secret etc. troubles me a lot as I know the only way they can hit the reset button on his identity dilema is some kind of plot device that involves wiping people's memory once Clark makes the leap. They would surely have to bring back the guy from Blank (S9E14).

But Smallville already became 'Metropolis' quite a while back...

@TheRedhead1986 I don't actually disagree on letting go on some things. But I think Season 6 was a real high point and I don't think it's got over that. Episodes like 915 are hard concepts for me to swallow and not how I imagine Smallville should ever be.

Don't get me wrong, it's my favourite series, but the essence of what I loved most about it has been lost. The (comparitively) massively stylised editing and over-use of SFX shows and the 'night' scenes used to feel more special than standard.

I know what you mean, there's changed a lot the last 3 seasons and I have to admit it tooks me some time to get used to it either, but I do understand why they did all the changes. The meteorfreaks aren't the biggest problems anymore..

But I'm sure they find a way to wipe out all the memory's Lois and other people have about Clark's secret :)

The 150 episode was Apocalypse wich was one of the last episode in season 7, and therefor it was Lex whom got "kill off". Because he wasn´t in the show in season 8, well kidda, cause you only see a small bit of "Lex".

i think lex is dead...but i think that when the show reaches the end clark will go back in time and make sure that a lot of things that happened will never happen. like knowing chloe which leads to meeting lois way too early, and being friends with lex and lex then dieing

Yeah Lex doesn't die...the writers specifically said that the characters that could not/would not die would be Clark (obviously), Lana, and Lex. I've seen all the episodes too and Lex doesn't die. People think he's dead, but he's not.
