  • are you a male or a female?

  • it probably doesnt matter, but was that bottle plastic or glass? and was the water hot or cold?

  • @h0meIandsecurity How about letting her kick you to death? One less idiot online is always a good thing.

  • I found out this does that because the bottle says not to use on aluminum, so I did it to see what would it would do.

  • @ubuntupokemoninc

    seriously? I am girl

  • @kzittel09

    haha, i like you ;)

  • @kzittel09 LMAO!!!!!!!!! a very cool girl! you threw that bottle like you had thrown these things at houses plenty of times before! i like that! you're alright kiddo!

  • @ubuntupokemoninc lol cant you tell shes in the kitchen...jk

  • @ubuntupokemoninc

    Someone doesn't see girls often...

  • @masyn92

    FUCK OFF!

  • @masyn92 hahahaha. i thought exactly the same thing

  • @ubuntupokemoninc lol that was a rude move either shes a hot girl or a cute boy pick one.

  • DO YOU KNOW HOW DANGEROUS NAOH IS DON'T TOUCH SMELL, OR LOOK AT IT FROM ABOVE!!!! WEAR GOGGLES!!!!!

  • For gods sake, pls wear googles!!!! It may not take even a second to explode in ur face!!! Curious kids may end up with accidents and loss / permanent damage of eyes.!!!. Those chemicals are very reactive! Don't play with sodium or any form of it.

  • @yousri71 Even salt?

  • @mousaey Sodium Chloride is not so reactive in home use, but when you want to use in laboratory, it can be reactive based on the other chemicals you mix it with, I saw a huge rocket in my Chemistry lab once when one curious kid had mixed hell lots of chemicals in a beaker with a piece of sodium in the bottom, he was barred from the lab life time.

  • Maybe,

    3NaOH +Al → 3Na + Al(OH)3

    Then, 2Na +2H2O → NaOH +H2

  • @ryuichirapha no actually its

    2NaOH+ 2Al---> 2NaAlO2+ H2

    NaAlO2=sodium aluminate

  • nice.

  • you enjoyed saying BALLS

  • Your sick. I like it.

  • be careful, you shouldn't be playing around with chemicals like that. Drano isn't 100% sodium hydroxide, it contains Al, sodium nitrate, and sodium chloride you can tell just by the color. Reagent grade sodium hydroxide is white. Also NaOH is caustic and VERY corrosive, simpler terms it will give you some nasty chemical burns. Let alone the exothermic reaction of water and NaOH. For your safety and good health please dont fool around with stuff like that.

  • you so fineeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • WEAR YOUR GOGGLES!!!! GOOD GOD.

  • @ToadCreek Lol, i'd rather wear goggles than gloves

  • @ToadCreek Ya. she said wear your gloves.safety precation...but then she never said, and goggles. Go figure. I think they should go like kinda hand in hand, ya know?

  • why not mix kerosene, tide detergent and gun powder in a mason jar if you want to see some destruction

  • just make sure you dont do that in dry climate because YOU WILL NOT HAVE A HOUSE LEFT

  • no it will not explode, it will create hydrogen gas which will expand inside of that container causing the container to blow to pieces, now if you threw it into a fire it would explode

  • Hey did you ever think of maybe using plastic? have you ever heard of something called shrapnel? That was a "voss" bottle right, yeah its solid glass, which would make some nasty shrapnel. What the fuck are you planning to do kill some one??

  • oh risky huh

  • W00t!

  • That looks very dangerous to be playing around with..you didnt even wear goggles while combining it and what if that exploded while you were shaking it? Good Lord if I were your mother!!

  • gay fag is gay! and your a homo

  • Then you stick in in a mailbox!!!!!

  • This was cool. It makes me want to do it. What type of drain cleaner did you use? i have been needing sodium hydroxide for a couple of other experiments.

  • @ballonman124 she used drano. U can buy it at home depot. Drano crystals. But, its not pure lye or sodium hydroxide. It has little bits of allumnium and sodium in it and something else. Assuming its for soap or mixing with ammonium nitrate, it wont really work. I have yet to find a away to filter off just the sodium hydroxide from the drano.

  • I used pure Sodium Hydroxide.

  • lucky you. i cant find any anywhere.

  • hmm Try hardware stores.

  • @ballonman124 oh trust me i have. lowes homedepot, i know ace hardware has some but i cant find one wherei live

  • I found it at an older type hardware store. The kind that isn't commercial.

  • @ballonman124 mmm in the city im in? i might just result to buying it online.

  • Yeah its not like iodine where you have to sign off an arm or a leg for it.

  • what a waste of hydrogen :(

  • nice garden lol

  • It blew up because of the pressure formed.

  • basic science, it works with any metal (except for gold) and it works better using magensium with chroline

  • cool
