i'm just going to post something to clear up all these arguments on here. this is my family in this video. we were out hunting when the accident happend with another group. the laws are you have to be just off the maintain ditch bank of a road. you can hunt with shotguns and we do because it is safer. the buckshot does not go as far as a rifle slug. the was a freak accident i've been hunting in those woods all my life and this is a first.
Buckshot has large pellets packed in a shotgun shell, it only takes one to kill you. Those ladies are very lucky. I support hunting and shooting but please be careful, once you pull that trigger you're committed.

buckshot doesnt travel far for one, two in thick cover as seen in the background, theres no way a buckshot pellet would make it through thst. he had to have been close to them in order for this to happen.

@Andrew32488 well your not correct, most deer vehicle accidents happen at night , between 11 pm and 5 am. Usually when deer are out foraging. A lot of deer get hit during the mating season, however in my area, NE Indiana, there are as many deer/vehicle accidents per month in the off season as during deer season. How would that be explained ? Deer over population

i'm just going to post something to clear up all these arguments on here. this is my family in this video. we were out hunting when the accident happend with another group. the laws are you have to be just off the maintain ditch bank of a road. you can hunt with shotguns and we do because it is safer. the buckshot does not go as far as a rifle slug. the was a freak accident i've been hunting in those woods all my life and this is a first.

Buckshot has large pellets packed in a shotgun shell, it only takes one to kill you. Those ladies are very lucky. I support hunting and shooting but please be careful, once you pull that trigger you're committed.

i have shot 11 deer with shotguns and im 14. i dont ever remember using "BUCKSHOT". unless it stands for deer slugs i've never heard that term unless ur using lead fo upland games. It is illegal to use buckshot in illinois.

buckshot doesnt travel far for one, two in thick cover as seen in the background, theres no way a buckshot pellet would make it through thst. he had to have been close to them in order for this to happen.

@Andrew32488 well your not correct, most deer vehicle accidents happen at night , between 11 pm and 5 am. Usually when deer are out foraging. A lot of deer get hit during the mating season, however in my area, NE Indiana, there are as many deer/vehicle accidents per month in the off season as during deer season. How would that be explained ? Deer over population

I was deer hunting during Ohio's muzzleloader season 1 year, I was positioned on a woodsline bordered on a fenced in pasture & a picked cornfield. I sat there for 1 hr when all of the sudden I heard the thunder of "deer hooves" running my way.
