Watching this is like watching it abortion. Such an amazing thing gets torn to hell and mutilated. >_< Shaman King was the first manga series I ever picked up back in 2003 or so. I'm 20 and just finished the manga (read Kangzenban/Kang Zeng Bang) and it was just...*Insert cry .jpeg of happiness*

@McRnB503 The chapters of Shaman King were written and illustrated by Hiroyuki Takei, and were published in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1998 to 2004.

that was when he ENDED his series, even leaving a passing note in his final volume, maybe i'll come back to this series someday.

he hasnt yet, but Xebec( the video comp responsible for the anime) AT LEAST GAVE THE SHOW AN ACTUAL ending.

it is unclear as to whether or not Takei will return to this series. i hope he will.

Zeke is HEBREW YOU IDIOT. its short for Ezekiel, and is the least "western" name I can think of.

Len is the MISPRONUNCIATION of Ren, thier L's and R's DO sound the same.

and trey does NOT WORK AT ALL for minimizing Horohoro.

Ok so whilst I do prefer the manga I can't help but feel that the anime was just as good. Must have something to do with the fact that like the original season of Full Metal Alchemist both shows were directed by the same person and both ended up in spite of straying from the source material good enough enjoyable shows in their own right

I like the ending in the manga better. Yoh actually gets through to his brother Hao and he turns good. Besides he may be angry and a little psychotic, but Hao is the wisest leader of the shaman world. And in the manga they help him to be the right shaman king.

Zeke does become Shaman King and does not control the spirit of Fire, Spirit of Fire is controled by Lyserg, Spirit of Rain goes to Horohoro, Spirit of Earth goes to Yoh, Spirit of Thunder goes to Ren, Spirit of Wind goes to Chocolove, and Zekes ghost is called the King of Spirits.
