THIS is why it's so important to have the 'proper' leadership; the Youth of America. Isn't it wonderful to see these young people so engaged and enlightened!?!
So cool to see you guys out there! I was out there last election - what a RIPOFF that was - but I ran into some weird stuff then - did you guys have any weird stuff? This all looks cool!
Keep up the good work guys. You are doing the most important job in you life right at this moment in time. America will reap the benefits of your hard work and will thank you for doing your part in getting Barack Obama elected President of America!!
You can still canvas without an organization. Just tell people why you support this man, and show them where they can listen to his very inspiring speeches.
Sign up as a volunteer on his site, and search for events in your area, even if you don't plan on going to any of them. Then you can contact the organizers of those events and ask them if there are any plans to do canvassing or anything else you might be interested in.
I live in New York, another non-swing state. I contacted one of the event organizers, who in turn put me in touch with someone in my area. Through him, I have learned about other events and organizations working for Obama.
At 1:30, this young man is the type of demographic that has to come out in droves in order for Obama to win. Young voters and Democratic independents must vote in droves in order for Obama to win and McCain to lose.
If a lot of young people vote I think Obama can get around 40-45 percent of the white vote. Most young voters are white college aged students and childless couples struggling to making a living (they are ages 25-30).
oboma rocks!!!!

Active citizenship at play regardless of who you support. It is uneasy and dangerous. I've participated in a Bible education work and it is not easy.

I have mixed feelings about canvasing. Too many salesman in my neighborhood I guess. But if it works, great!

Fired up, ready to go. Greg, did you make this video? I love it, esp. the violin (or is it a fiddle?) music.

you are right, and this is why youtube is so vital for the Democratic party -one of the "young voters coming out in droves"
