how to make charcoal THE EASY WAY !

Good job, I've seen a couple ways to do this yours seems the most economical. By the way is your forge made out of a Bar-b-q grill?

@noodzintheblue thanks man, its not a grill, actually its one of my moms old pots, its realy thick and i made a hole in the bottom, and welded a pipe and grill with holes in it at the bottom :)

I think that if you flip your steel box over, the wood gas would burn under the box and help heat the box, right?

@nikrguy yes that could work but then all the weight of the wood would be on the lid and if you were to lift it it might fall out and i would also worry about the fir getting inside the box

Good video, btw the gases coming out of the container are wood gases, because it burns, steam doesn't burn.
