the worst thing that happens in this game is when you get shot up really bad, and flying forward gets a bunch of smoke in your face and you cant see anything.

@99lavos It's a Hawker Typhoon, I was going to use the Gloucester Meteor, but for some reason all Jet aircraft are disabled on this mission. My favourite is the Hawker Tempest Mk2: It looked great; it was fast and was a competent ground attack and aerial combat plane... at least... in this game it was. XP

OK, like at 2:05, why does it turn the camera like that?

Does it get annoying?

Do the controls feel natural & are they hard to learn?

@LegoScout09 The camera tilts when you hold down the A button and it centres itself on your selected target (Makes it easier to aim and turn).

The controls are natural to me since I've played for a long time and I just really like the game.

In all honesty the game does get boring when you get great at it. Though you end up making things really hard for yourself (Like fighting jets with a WWI Bi-plane).

Playing through missions on their first time are always interesting, but no replay value.

The control are very natural and are very easy to learn;10 second.

The game is always fun... never boring.

@MrRCT3freak I was thinking about that and why they don't utilise it in more Flight simulators. I know I kept my finger on the trigger in this game but I think game developers find it a bit too... difficult to try and create a game where the actual "Fighting enemy" challenge is just as difficult as the "Refuelling and reloading".

I always wondered - did WW2 fighters have 'ammo indicators' or was it simply up to the pilot to remember how many rounds they'd fired?

have a few questions, how should I fly the plane and how do I keep the cross-hairs steady? What settings do you recommend? I used to be ok at this game but havent played it in like a year, also how do you turn quickly? I try making the plane tilt all the way and using the brakes but cant ever manage to follow the other planes, how do you follow the other planes well? You look like you know what you are doing

I recommend, using arcade style control and the tracking camera to help your aim (Don't let go even if your target is right in front of you). Also, try predicting turns.. Don't keep turning until your enemy is in the cross hair, turn out of the turn early.

30,000 kills on ground targets and 1,000 kills on ships... Or that's what I think anyway.

I got this game for the Wii and its awsome sometimes i get mad because the way you turn. The only thing wrong with game it the controller that you turn with. Otherwise I LOVE the game.

It's the only way to effectively take down your enemies, I guess to put it bluntly its a bit like an aimbot. Since you can see what your aiming at whenever you want and turn accordingly. (Did I mention it actually allows you to make tighter turns?)

When i got to turn I slow my engine all way to as slow as it will let me then i turn and that is how i make really tight turns but when i am dogfighting on the game i just fly around killing the enemy.

HIghest firepower in the game, hence why most of the enemies go down after just a few miliseconds of fire.

It was one of the first games released with the Wii, and in my opinion. The game play is a little mind-numbing at the beginning (due to the fact they're the easy levels) but as you progress the gradual difficulty soon proves a challenge which you can't help but want to beat.

It's tedious. What helps is if you get an upgraded plane. A pretty fast one, but the default plane is actually pretty good to use in that level.

Plus... Ace standards are based on how many things you kill, and how quick you did it.

Just bomb everything and enjoy your medal.

You have two bars on the screen which have green squares in them. When both bars are full you are flying in the right direction.

One indicates distance and the other indicates direction. Hope this helps.

You shouldn't need that. The base should be automatically targeted in red. Just fly toward the target markings and take your picture. (You should be able to see it when taking pictures).

Plus, using the camera tracker with the "A" button will DEFIANTLY help.

Please don't make generalized comments about arcade flight sims (or anything else.) Blazing Angels is definately the best I've found when it comes to flight sims for the Wii. (and other game consoles, as far as I know.) And I've watched videos and reviews on quite a few flight sims for Wii. Blazing Angels is wayyyyyyy better than others I've seen.

Very true. Although I MUST complain about the X-box and PS3 version which had VERY different voice acting. Making the game simply terrible to play. Luckily in the Wii version People are a little... Quieter.
