How appropriate -- you uploaded this on Mantovani's birthday! I guess that makes him 37 now. It kind of reminds me of all those moderately-atonal post-WWII orchestral pieces given US or world premieres by the Louisville Orchestra under conductor Robert Whitney when I still lived in that city ages ago.
