That 30 year old motorcycle looks to be in fabulous shape. My first motorcycle was an orange CB400T Hawk identical to this one. I'd like to ride one again.
I like that fact that when I see someone riding a street bike for the first time they're fine, no crashes. I don't understand why so many people choose to ride a crotch rocket for their first time, they ALWAYS seem to crash. That's why I will never ride one. I prefer my softtail to a crotch rocket any day. Oh, and get some protective gear, helmet, jeans, gloves, and maybe even a jean jacket. Protect yourself from the other drivers out there.

Ah lovely! her smile says it all. The feeling is unsurpassed, I remember my first time, the feeling of freedom, the motor purring away and the gentle pull on the arms and push in the seat linked directly to that little twistgrip - brilliant!
Protective clothing? I suppose but for a little ride up the road 1st time? worth the risk just on this one occasion to fully feel it.

To be honest shes gota point about the heat and though a full helmet should be on her head it is her choice about clothing and I suspect that if she had an accident without a helmet she would not be covered . Thats your insurance theory knocked to shreds, I would be more worried her not being covered by insurance in case she hits some one. If you don`t want to ware a helmet you could always get a trike

The effect is caused by a near synchronization of the speed of the wheel and the amount of frames per second of the video. We perceive video as smooth motion but that is accomplished by viewing a series of stills that are shown in succession. Our brains fill in the space between the frames. The more frames per second the smoother the video appears. The rather large spokes appear to move too slow or revolve in the wrong direction or stop entirely because her bike speed is not constant. It's cool.

its not like she really needs full leathers, but a god damn helmet, a real shirt maybe. How about some fucking pants. from a guy who know what the pavement feels like at about 20. even at that speed, i lost about a 6x6 pieces of skin. Also I'm in this hell hole of Phoenix and i still where at least a helmet and pants. if not a jacket. you can see the video of my girl learning to ride. i would be ashamed of my self. RIDE LIKE HELL, JUST PREPARE FOR SOME OF IT!

@KTMchris300 Amen brother. I kissed the pavement at about 15-20mph and lost a piece of skin on my arm about 5x9 and permanently numbed my knee. Riding is no joke, especially if it's your first time. If she wrecked right there, she might be discouraged to ever ride again. Ride safe and enjoy it.

Out here in AZ you're greatest danger from riding is heat stroke.
Wear full gear out here and you'll pass out in 115 degree weather while I'll make it home just fine in my T-shirt.

What an idiot. If I saw a biker without a helmet around where I live I'd call the police. Terrible riding posture. Keep your fingers around the handle bars and not hovering on the levers (being a first time rider is no excuse). I don't even sit on my bike without putting on my helmet. This is stupid.
