That is a good and determined cat. They are both darling animals. The cat could have done much worse. If the puppy's mom had been enduring that treatment she would have put her puppy in it's place also. Puppys have to be taught. It's just the animal's way. That is a good kitty.

@sctbltdh don't worry...i have one small havanese who cries before our cat has even touched him lol. First time i heard him like that i was really worried, but on another occasion i saw that the cat really didn't touch him at all. He is such a drama queen lol. This puppy only needs to learn some manners, he will be ok. And of course he is making noise, how else can he let the cat know when to stop.

No, you can tell that in the end the cat wasn't actually hurting the puppy. It was only restraining it. Our cat treated her own kittens that way when they wouldn't stop pestering her, and they never got a scratch.

It's not as if the puppy didn't get plenty of warnings! The cat was just letting it know that it meant business.
