...My gut feeling tells me that the period-appropriate genius of the original 3-stooges will be poorly presented on par with other Hollywood productions that tried to recycle vintage comedy. Scooby-doo, Garfield, Dumb and Dumberer. Nobody in this day and age is familiar with daily life during the great depression, 2nd world war, cheesy western movies or italian mobsters. How the heck are the stooges old quirks going to be funny in a modern setting? It looks so awkward in this new age context :(
