Heehee, the spider is trying to pretend to be dead several times. He's all like "I'm dead. I'm dead! I'M DEAD, DAMMIT, CURLED UP AND DEAD!" And the cat isn't falling for it. Cats are awesome pest control. I have six and I hardly ever see a spider. I find the occasional leg, but rarely a whole spider.
