i saw a doc film about this song. about a german musician who came first in to the annihilation camp. as he passed the main gate the conducter told them this is the entry and there is the exit, point the finger on a stack where smoke was rising up.

now they knew where they are the only way to survive as long as they can was to play music for the staff. once they played a guitarist began weeping but he was still playing...when a conductur asked..he answered:

So they were sitting at this main gate and watched on people passing and they knew that all these people will die soon (jews,...and other minority groups in second worldwar)

i watched few other versions of this song on youtube, but i could not watch it so much times like this one.

it reminds me to the wind when it touches the trees, bit faster & bit slower. alwas litle different.
