Just watched this via video-rental -- A competant, hard-edged, touching if sometimes only competant glimpse of crushing, unrelieved, persistent horror & self-betrayal that is the abyss of hardcore addiction; I'd say this would reward a rewatch, with good, capable & convincing performances graced by occasional sparks of brilliance highlighting the bleak living nightmare which is existence for far too many enduring their private anguish which is the drugabuse pandemic & agony of Big Apple decay.

i remember seeing this movie awhile ago, it was really good i def recommend watching it. it kinda has that requiem for a dream feeling.
